Crowley's a good fighter, he's in the Top 5 at WW.

    I can't complain with that.

Or do you mean Crawford? Because I think that's a really good fight too.

I don't mind the Crowley fight but Ennis/Crawford is intriguing. Crawford is fighting Israil which many people don't know who he is.

It's fine to wait til the money's right, but Boots could be fighting the great fights now, not when he's 36. Which I think is the reason we dislike canelo so much. He got in early and made his name now he can just sit back and rake in appearance fees. Whereas guys older than him aka Bud are still scrapping to make a PPV. If guys got on with it and belted each other before turning 30, then let them all pick and choose like Canelo is, and let the experienced fighters fill the viewong space that Logan Paul etc are taking now.

Eddie would have to get him fights which will give him more status, probably at 154 for a belt, then at 160 if Bud is trying to make a case for the Canelo fight.

Boots needs to look good, be active, and a step ahead of Crawford's moves directly in the way of his goals to get the fight with him.

Ennis was offered the Bud fight TWICE, and both times Ennis pops passed. Whats Bud supposed to do, kidnap him and force him to fight?

Which fight? Boots or Madrimov? Madrimov got there sooner with 10 fights and respected as much at a bigger weight. According to my feelers, Madrimov won't be easy.

Probably because Crawford fans would rather see him get something out of fighting an unknown dude, and Madrimov offers way more than Ennis in that aspect? And Crawford, if he can't get a cash grab match then atleast would like to get something that adds on to his career. Bluntly put, people say Ismail Madrimov is unknown and won't sell which probably is true. However given that Boots Ennis is also just as unknown and won't sell either so financially it won't be that different. The difference between fighting those two unknowns to the public is the following:
                      Candidate 1:
                      • Unknown to the casuals and won't sell tickets that well.
                      • The money won't be that great compared to cash grabs.
                      • Crawford has a good chance of winning the match.
                      • A win will give Crawford a belt that he's already owned before in the same division and haven't lost in the ring.
                      • Crawford will be a 3 division champion with two division undisputed after the fight.
                      Candidate 2:
                      • Unknown to the casuals and won't sell tickets that well.
                      • The money won't be that great compared to cash grabs.
                      • Crawford has a good chance of winning the match.
                      • A win will give Crawford potentially two belts in a division he's never fought in.
                      • Crawford will be a 4 division champion with two undisputed, and a potential path to become the first three division undisputed in the 4 belt era of boxing after the fight.
Someone tell me why you would like to go for candidate 1 over candidate 2 in this situation? Boots is a good fight only if every beltholder in 154 is unavailable, which is not the case.
