Bluntly put, people say Ismail Madrimov is unknown and won't sell which probably is true. However given that Boots Ennis is also just as unknown and won't sell either so financially it won't be that different. The difference between fighting those two unknowns to the public is the following:
Candidate 1:- Unknown to the casuals and won't sell tickets that well.
- The money won't be that great compared to cash grabs.
- Crawford has a good chance of winning the match.
- A win will give Crawford a belt that he's already owned before in the same division and haven't lost in the ring.
- Crawford will be a 3 division champion with two division undisputed after the fight.

- Crawford has a good chance of winning the match.
- A win will give Crawford potentially two belts in a division he's never fought in.
- Crawford will be a 4 division champion with two undisputed, and a potential path to become the first three division undisputed in the 4 belt era of boxing after the fight.
Please do a poll amongst your boxing fan friends AND ask them how long they’ve known Boots vs how long they’ve known Madrinov.
Before the discussion came up on fighting Boots o had no idea who he was. I asked 6 of my friends (one is a boxing trainer) and nobody had heard of Madrinov until about a month ago.
Boots is much more well known than Kavaliauskas and Avanesyan yet Bud fought those two.
Bud’s PPV with Porter sold 165K PPV …. that’s an incredibly low number. So Bud is no different from Boots except that he’s won multiple titles.

I’d be fine with that, but if he’s going to persist with calling Crawford out, at least bring something to the table.
I’m a big fan of the Crowley fight.
“Bring something to the table”? Dude! Khan, Brook, Avanesyan and Kavaliauskas brought absolutely nothing to the table YET they all got a shot at Bud.

You stay in that LDBC delusional world. Ennis undefeated record is gone at 154 but he hide out in 147. Again Saudi say they will pay just like Black Prime was willing to pay. Why is he not tuning up in 154? Are the Saudis' direct deposits bouncing or do they have monopoly money like Black Prime but David said his money cleared for the Crawford fight, the fight Booty Daddy wouldn't take.

You know the funny thing is I'm probably one of just a handful of posters on this site that has actually been around to see the ebbs and flows of the business of boxing in America. I have seen tons on en****** over the last several decades that claimed to be the saviors of American boxing and were going to take over the sport. Just to see them fizzle out bigtime and boxing settles back right into where it always has been, in American hands. The same ol' pillars of the sport like Bob Arum, Don King, the Duvas, Lou Dibella, Joe Diguardia (RIP), Sampson Lecowicz, Stephen Espinoza, Al Haymon, Shelly Finkel, Tom Brown, Luis Decubas Sr & Jr, Butch Lewis, Sam Watson, ODLH, Cameron Dunkin (RIP), Salita, Floyd Mayweather Leonard Ellerbe and a few others always seem to be around boxing through the good times and bad. Hearn and Dazn came in 2018 with plans on monopolizing American boxing and failed miserably. Burned through 6 billion dollars of the Ruskie's rubles with no stars at all. Now he's teamed up with a Saudi oilman and here we go again. They announce one fight card this fall with half the card filled with PBC fighters and somehow the Saudi oilman and the fog horned Brit (sorry couldn't help it) has figured out what all the American boxing suits could not. Are you guys really ready to go on this emotional roller coaster again? Just like they did in 2018, Dazn is going on another shopping spree with another sucka and they are going to drop HUGE BAGS on a few fighters (and good for them) just to again be disapointed when the profit margins are nowhere close to what they thought they would be. All the aforementioned American promoters will be feverishly working behind the scene and using all their tentacles to destroy the 'new kids on the block' while doing business with them to get their fighters paid while waiting for Dazaster and Big Turkey to spaz out again. Smh. By the way has anyone noticed that there aren't any Top Rank fighters on this card. Ol' Bobby boy has seen thei movie before and he ain't going noooooo where!!!
