Garcia hasn't changed. Haney just never had the power to bother him. He still fights in spurts and throw punches in a frenzy when he thinks he hurts someone. Outside the three knockdowns, he was being outboxed. His power bailed him out.

I disagree. Devin has the will power and heart of a true soldier. He took his bumps and bruises like a true champion would without quitting, making excuses and was still fighting back. Once he returns; He'll be even stronger than before.

Who I worry about is Ryan Garcia, That fight with Tank Davis has permanently damaged him psychologically to the point of where he is now afraid of getting hit.

He had to resort to subterfuge, cheating and gamesmanship in order to defeat Haney; by deliberately not making weight and turning his back on him each and every time he got close enough to hit him.

However, what happens now when he is forced to fight someone on even playing field with a chin and who can actually punch? Seriously, those two need to run it back. Since it was such a close, entertaining and crowd-pleasing fight.

How you deal with the setbacks shows your real strength of character. We'll see if Haney is able to learn and improve from this. I think he needed to be humbled tbh.

problem for haney is some of the things that were exposed are things that he cant change, which is a weak chin and a lack of power.... only way he can go is becoming even more safety first and try and stink the place out when he fights someone with a bit of power, or drain himself back down the weights

Teo excelled quicker than the other “4 kings “, they just catching up. But he should fight one

That's exactly what it's supposed to happen when prospects come up. People vacillate, one minute they are the greatest thing since sliced bread, then they are garbage right? Haney now is garbage he used to be the face of boxing lol.

I think the dark horse here, and the greatest of the bunch is the guy you didn't even mention Pitbull Cruz. Cruise is legitimate pressure fighter with a decent enough punch especially at 135. He arguably beat tank Davis I think he did, if you were just get a little bit more head movement cemented in to his routine, his counter punching is off the charts if you watch him on tape.

But yeah these guys have been picking their opponents carefully and now they're getting exposed which is exactly what's supposed to happen. Garcia is now on top of the The heap but he has to find a weight class he can fight in comfortably. Even with his talented punch ain't no way he's fighting the likes of Crawford or boots levels to the game... And he's too big to be fighting the likes of Pitbull.

Things are just getting sorted and unfortunately for young fighters most of them get exposed that's why it means something to be an ATG.

That's what a puncher does. Garcia moves well when he isn't screwing his body up trying to make some crazy weight. Punchers often fight in spurts so they have power when they attack. It's logical. Wilder does the same thing.

Now the thing was Garcia is, either he is a genius, or crazy as a fox maybe a bit of both? How deliberate was he about the weight? It would truly be a genius move if he planned this.

I don't think there's anything unethical about what he did considering Haney does the same thing with rehydration. It looks like Bill and his son got outfoxed lol.

Give me a break...Teach him how to throw a Jab.He is useless.teach him.you were telling him use the jab,,,and he didn't even acknowledge you.He does not respect you.he is boxing worst than ever.he was not landing and not following up when Haney was hurt.something is way way off. training is useless with Garcia, or he has learning issues or you are not hard enough.

These two should ride this rivalry as far as they possibly can. The first fight sets up a very lucrative rematch.

They should make some money before getting dashed against the rocks at 147.
