Haney is very young. He also seems like a dude who has a good attitude and mindset on his shoulders. He'll be back.

He'll be back much stronger and better working on those holes he needs to repair.. part of the learning process. Forget the undefeated status, most greats have losses on their resumes.

It is easy to be a 'sage' when one wins, but when you lose.....not so much.

Game plan for Haney should not have been complicated. Even halfway into the fight it's so obvious, stay away from the center and keep moving forward. That should have been the theme of his training, learn how to punch moving forward. Garcia is very dangerous when he's left doing his thing. He seems helpless when pursued.

Haney is tough because he senses the ropes and hangs on like a drowning man but if the referee doesn't allow holding Devin has no plan B. Devin's jab, pulling back and punching works because he's normally the bigger guy but at 140 and 147 he's within range and Ryan just followed him back.

Haney is used to picking on smaller guys and this completely backfired , James deserves credit and so does Ryan .It's back to the drawing board for the 'dream' that became a nightmare
