    I can't imagine a more ridiculous statement than to call the WW division barren. The WW is, has been and always will be among the deepest in the sport. The top 10 guys in this division are always killers. There may not be marquee names, but there are always top world class guys to fight. Jaron Ennis isn't the only guy who can fight at WW, and Bud Crawfor isn't his only legitimate competition. If Boots can't get Crawford (he won't), then fight Stanionis (he's dying for a fight), Connor Benn, Mario Barrios, Giovanni Santillan, Mean Machine, Giyasov, or even an Alexis Rocha-level guy. Anyone who thinks Jaron Ennis doesn't have good competition left at WW isn't paying attention to the sport. If Jaron Ennis himself is saying it, then he is just another prima donna fighter looking for money fights against name fighters in the twilight of their careers. He's a young, new (paper) champion, so he can make good fights at WW if he's at all inclined.

      This article is acting like he is 36 instead of 26. He is young enough to be able to collect all the belts at 147 and then move up to 154 where the paydays are

        He is very big for 147. 154 is probably where he should be, eventually moving to 160.

          May as well change his name to "Chair" because he's doing more sitting than standing.

            Wait a doggone minute here!!! I asked this the other day an no one has answered yet. This is an article about Jaron Ennis so where are all the negative posts about him! Where are all the "hype job"... He's no good"... "Hes a runner like all black fighters" ... "he's a monkey and ape" .... "Eggs Benn and Virgil will beat the shyte otta him".... where's all that shyte? What happened in the last few days where everyone has changed their opinion of him? Did I miss something? Oh he signed a deal with MR so now all that shyte you talked now your favorite fighters have to back that up. You all are like the high school kid who talked all that shyte about another kid during 1st and 2nd period class because you thought 3pm would never get here. Now it's 330 pm and you are getting off the bus and that kid is waiting for you at the bus stop and it's time to fight. hahahaha now go back that shyte up bytch!!!

                Seems doubtful that Crawford will comeback to 147, but wouldn’t be at all surprised if Hearn had the following conversation with the Saudi;

                “if I can sing Ennis will you put up Crawford’s ask for $10 million for the fight” to which I’d expect they’d say yes. Don’t be surprised if another fight for all the belts at 147 happens in Saudi. Then it won’t matter if PBC or anyone else have all the fighters in the division. They won’t have any of the belts.
                Why are you still worried about what PBC has? Is that your inferiority complex talking? PBC has two WW belt fights on the Canelo undercard they will be fine. They have to many fighters to lose steam because Boots left. I wish he would've stayed but that's his decision. Now he is on your "side of the street" so you just worry about him and no one else my friend!

                  Is Kavaliauskas retired? Isn't that the guy who KD'd the top guy in the division? Don't tell me he's just another Custio-level opponent. How about Avanesyan? Ennis needs 3-4 fights a year right?

                    The best thing he can do is move up to 154 pounds. It’s unfortunate, because he has all of the talent to just bust out of the TV.” - Shawn Porter

                    Do it right after the Crowley fight! Go get the IBF title @ 154, and then go DUCK HUNTING!!!

                      WOW! If Boots is a weight bully, what was Errol Spence Jr.? What was Vergil Ortiz Jr.?
