There are plenty of dance partners, but none wanna dance with Boots. Even if Boots moves up to 154, the oppponents will call out eachother, but ignore/avoid Boots as much as they possibly can. Or they'll leave the division and go up or down in weight. Boots is a Murderer's Row kinda guy. He would have fit in very well with guys like Cocoa Kid, Jack Chase, Holman Williams, Charley Burley, Eddie Booker. He has all of the qualities of a great fighter. Boots is rangy, athletic, and fit.. Adjusts well, thinks fast, is very skilled, High ring IQ, with tremendous reflexes, timing, speed and power. He's also has shown very good defense, chin, stamina, and the killer instinct. He's all business in the ring. On top of all that, he fights equally well from both the orthodox and southpaw stances and switches smoothly between them without any lapses in his footwork, offense or defense. He's just a dangerous, avoided guy, period. You'll see potential opponents at 154 flee when Boots moves up in weight. Or they'll try to make bouts with anyone except him. You'll see...

I’m just curious why he didn’t sign with PBC. They have the biggest platform with Amazon and have the fighters at 147 and 154 to compete with. Like him or not, but Al Haymon would do wonders for his career. His next choice should have been Top Rank. They have experience building up young talent.Oldskoolg

All the while going totally unnoticed by American sports fans who don’t have dazn. This was NOT a good career move for this ultra talented kid. I hope he is paid well because he is giving away prime years and boxing is indeed passing him by. Oh well, hope the lad does well and makes some highlight reels against Liam Smythe and Callum Braithwaite and the like..
