The narrative was being built for Ortiz as the new generation of top 147lbers having a heated rivalry at the top because he couldn't make the weight and is out of the division so temporarily he is without a dance partner. The promoters are probably looking for someone they can build for him.

True. It was a glamour div for 5 years as we were building up to undisputed. Now that Bud is proven King of Kings at 147 it's time to start over. Just like 154 with Jermall and 135 with Devin. Canelo is king at 154 but some people just don't believe it until he fights David
