Unless he knocks them out Loma will not get a win in the States against any of the young fighters. I think he will be so much better than Kamboses in Australia that they will not be able to deny him.

About 80% of fighters do everything to avoid top competition. What makes me excited for boxing is when top prospects fight each other and top contenders fight each other and champions fight each other. The 168 pound division is buried in guys waiting for the Canelo sweepstakes instead of fighting each other and that pisses me off.

I swear the sooner Lomachenko retires the faster these clown azz fake boxing fans will leave with him.

If the version of Kambosos who beat Bey, Selby, and Lopez shows up and Loma has lost a step, Kambosos can win.
If the version of Kambosos who fought Maxi Hughes shows up, even a washed Lomachenko will rout him.
If the best version of Lomachenko shows up, no version of Kambosos has a chance.

1st of all Loma was not Post-Prime vs Haney, everybody ages different and Loma was looking like a man still at or near his peak just like Crawford. This isn't 1995 anymore guys don't just fall off because they turn 35. LeBron is turning 40 and still arguably the best player in the NBA1Eriugenus likes this.

but in the end Loma deserve some of the blame for being so timid early vs Lopez, that's how kambosos won because Loma had provided the blueprint to beat Lopez. When u don't give Lopez time to think all his has is the homerun haymakers

Agree. People act like we're still in the 1950s when most boxers fought every month. Now it is rare if they fight twice a year. Unless they are silly with gym wars obviously fighters can carry on much longer because they aren't remotely taking the same punishment in a year. Add to that that very few boxers smoke (in the 50s they mostly did) & that they know far more about nutrition & it is obvious that 35 or even 40 isn't a cut-off point. Clearly, if Lomachenko had been battered in fights then I wouldn't suggest he should be carrying on, but so far no-one has battered the man.
