If any man with a name, who has a heart in his chest and a pair of nuts bigger than acorns, can you please agree to a fight with Boots Ennis? So this way, clowns can stop saying he hasn't fought nobody

And frankly he's right. That's a no-win fight. Bud is 3 weight divisions below and in cash out mode, and we already saw how it went with an undisputed champion from 2 divisions. He'd get zero credit for winning that fight. People are going to complain unless he fights either Benavidez or the winner of Beterbiev v Bivol. And Bud has never been a big seller, and his draw power post Spence hasn't been tested. So it's all risk with no reward. I think he really only gets credit for Benavidez, Beterbiev, Bivol, or Opetaia or bigger at this point.
He'll get credit if he defends his belts and wins good voluntaries. Munguia is a good voluntary but not defending against Benavidez is unforgiveable from a legacy pov

Don't think he's going to do any of that though. I'm not even sure why Munguía is considered a good voluntary. Because he beat Ryder? Because he went life and death with Derevyanchenko? Because he turned down multiple title shots en route to this point?

Its not a great voluntary but it's decent to good - on paper Jermall was a good voluntary - unified at 154 stepping up - the reality was far different. Canelo has some right dodgy voluntaries so comparatively this is a good one - Derev was a hard nights work for anyone - great technical boxer with loads of heart. Munguia KOd Ryder Canelo couldn't. So it will sell. But its not the fight we want to see and Canelo should be stripped of all belts

'll probably laugh but also be annoyed if it backfires and he ends up losing whomever he faces next. Crawford is not getting younger and it unfortunately took the Spence Jr. fight to really make him known to more casuals than prior to that fight. I know he's waiting for something to make sense and the Spence Jr. rematch had him tired up for months, but now that it's off, he needs to make moves sooner than later. Hopefully as soon as this fight is over, they can come to an immediate agreement and get the next fight going. Granted whoever wins between Tim and Fundora will probably need some healing time.
I hear the winner has 5 day's to start negotiating with Crawford's camp.

At this point IDGAF about the belts. If the belt organizations won't call the mandatories, who cares if they're given up or not. If they're not going to encourage the best to fight the best, even just in their own rankings, and force the champ to defend, they're worthless. The 168 belts are therefore trash.

Bud Crawford's way of saying to fans who want him to fight Boots, F off. But I would have preferred to see him take an interim fight, instead of just, while waiting.

Why are they clowns for saying he hasn't fought anyone, its the truth he hasn't, he is a great prospect and needs to make some real fights, if Bozy is calling the shots he is doing a great job of stalling his career.

                    Because they are Spence fans
Just like many of the Benny fans are ex-Canelo fans

Bud calls a few shots now, but he has to get moving soon. It's getting late.
