And fans are supposed to be impressed by this, adding another six months of inactivity, waiting, waiting, waiting...

Bud calls a few shots now, but he has to get moving soon. It's getting late.

    Because they are Spence fans
Just like many of the Benny fans are ex-Canelo fans
    How soon we forget lol

Bud Crawford's way of saying to fans who want him to fight Boots, F off. But I would have preferred to see him take an interim fight, instead of just, while waiting.

So it will sell. But its not the fight we want to see and Canelo should be stripped of all belts
At this point IDGAF about the belts. If the belt organizations won't call the mandatories, who cares if they're given up or not. If they're not going to encourage the best to fight the best, even just in their own rankings, and force the champ to defend, they're worthless. The 168 belts are therefore trash.

'll probably laugh but also be annoyed if it backfires and he ends up losing whomever he faces next. Crawford is not getting younger and it unfortunately took the Spence Jr. fight to really make him known to more casuals than prior to that fight. I know he's waiting for something to make sense and the Spence Jr. rematch had him tired up for months, but now that it's off, he needs to make moves sooner than later. Hopefully as soon as this fight is over, they can come to an immediate agreement and get the next fight going. Granted whoever wins between Tim and Fundora will probably need some healing time.
I hear the winner has 5 day's to start negotiating with Crawford's camp.

And frankly he's right. That's a no-win fight. Bud is 3 weight divisions below and in cash out mode, and we already saw how it went with an undisputed champion from 2 divisions. He'd get zero credit for winning that fight. People are going to complain unless he fights either Benavidez or the winner of Beterbiev v Bivol. And Bud has never been a big seller, and his draw power post Spence hasn't been tested. So it's all risk with no reward. I think he really only gets credit for Benavidez, Beterbiev, Bivol, or Opetaia or bigger at this point.
