For a fighter with 30+ plus fights (Boots), he still has a whole lot to prove. Stanionis, with only 14 fights, beat
Butaev, which for now, Is better than anything Boots has done at 147.
can be worthless - NOT "always will be worthless" -

When Inoue captured a title at 112 - he didn't have the resume - but those who knew knew. David Morrell and Ennis don't have a resume as of yet - but those who know know.

Canelo is more shot than Bud at this time - and he's gonna have more wearage and tearage after the Jaime fight

Eye test for some doesn't mean anything because they don't know what they're looking for. There's plenty on here who don't know the first thing about boxing skills and just watch for fun. Which is fine, but sitting on a couch only grants expertise in sitting on a couch. If you're unable to engage in a technical discussion about a boxing sequence, your eye test is going to be suspect. That sort didn't know what they were looking at with Inoue. Some still don't. Ditto Bivol. There's a ton of people who think he's basic because he doesn't really do anything fancy. But they don't know enough to know what he does that's elite.

That being said, another thing that can diminish the value of eye test is promotion and who (and how) the fighter chooses to fight. There's a lot of guys who pass the eye test but then spend their careers trying to be the "face of boxing" rather than seeking challenges. Tank Davis is the poster child for passing the eye test in spades, and then spending his career cherry picking and putting in clauses. It's just, unlike Floyd and Canelo, he's not doing so at a high level.

And that is why I couldn’t give two fughs if he fights Benny or Morrell
Honestly , I think both those guys would beat him and it makes all the sense in the world
That is why I’d rather he retires instead of going ahead with this chit

Yes so maybe it equals out. But then why bother with any fight in-between. Just make the Bud Canelo fight after the Munguia fight. Then they can both retire.

I think that is the whole reason for Bud using his mando position
I think Canelo would fight him after seeing him struggle a little vs Tazoo

just make the fight? - as Bud and Spence both said at the time - when the 2 fighters want the fight the fight gets made - one way or the other
