I can`t see how Usyk beats Joyce. Joyce is no joke. he is not a quitter like Dubois. Joyce will not just quit after taking some shots by a cruiserweight. Joyce will just walk through his punches and walk Usyk down.

Joyce isn't fast enough or skilled enough to walk Usyk down. Usyk wins a very wide points decision while making Joyce look ridiculous.

I don't rate Joyce and I know Usyk beat him in the amateurs but I've never seen Usyk pressured for 12 whole rounds with no breaks and win so we need to see it before we award Usyk the automatic win.

How is it people can't avoid a JJ punch
They come at you in ultra slo mo.

He actually has decent enough footwork and engine to keep him right in front of his opponent all night. Coupled with his workrate he’s always going to land quite a lot and be able to work people over.

The obvious problem is that he can’t move his head, so put a puncher like Zhang in front of him and he just ate too many big shots. His chin might be cracked now, but anyone who hasn’t got a massive punch is going to have trouble with Joyce. You either drop him quick or you have the mobility, skill and engine to pick him off for 12 rounds and outpoint him.

JJ hadn’t suddenly turned into a terrible fighter, he’s just slow with a terrible defence. He was good enough to beat Dubois and Parker so he’s obviously no mug.
