The sanctioning bodies will stay with Stanionis or Ortiz until the next money maker comes along. The IBF jumped to Ennis because one, he has no leverage and two, they're banking on him being they're next money train.

You, out of everyone in here, know this is the way the game is played.
I sincerely feel the WBA is the WORST!!!

Crawford spent 5 years chasing a unification bout vs ANY of the PBC champions.......during that time he was ridiculed and belitttled as if he was some newbie trying to get in the ring with people he didn't deserve a shot against. Now he finally accomplishes his goal and is looking for a huge payday due to the work he put in and he's being chastise for holding up other fighters. Where is all the complaining about Canelo who has baby sat his titles for God knows how long, not to face the best available, but a big name whom he has a huge upside over.

Canelo should be in the ring vs Crawford or Benavidez.....PERIOD. Now all of a sudden he wants to honor mandatory bouts....but he wouldn't do that when either Charlo, Boo Boo, or Heard was young and hungry. He was playing hop scotch with the divisions. Fought old man Kovelev. Eventually even fighting Amir Khan......but he claims there's nothing to gain from fighting a 2x Undisputed champ in Bud Crawford.

I was referring to Stainonis’ promoter and manager not Crawfords

I don't think Crawford would "release the belts" until he gets the money fight he wanted. He'll use them as leverage for the negotiations. Much like Haney and Charlo did. Question is when will that money fight will come? Two months from now, 3 months, 6 months? These guys might as well take stay-busy fights while waiting.

Canelo told Bud to go sniff somewhere else, so that's what he must do.

There’s too many people who have voiced their frustrations, complaints and disgrace towards Canelo. I am fan of Canelo and I’m saying he’s straight up ducking Benavidez.

In the same context, Bud needs to fight Boots if he’s staying at 147 or relinquish all the belts so others can fight for them.

What could be the reason why the fight never materialized? They fight on the same network and had plenty of opportunities to make the fight. What went wrong?

Stan's best win is Butaev. Fight could have gone either way. Butaev can't be compared with Kava's only 2 loses, Crawford and Ortiz.

Well sure. I like Mean Machine a lot but not as much.
Are you saying that at this moment Mean Machine is better than Stanionus? Im saying Stanionus is better. He'd be a tougher fight for Crawford just cause Crawfords even older than when he fought MM. (he's also bigger than MM) But I also think Stanionus is just a better fighter anyhow.
Stan was too much for Butaev I didnt think it was close.

Don't know why Ennis/Stanionis didn't get made. The Stanionis/Ortiz was ordered by WBA seven months after Eimantas' last fight. Seven full months to make the Stan/Boots happen. Then another one year of lost opportunity came when the Ortiz/Stanionis got canceled early last year. Nobody knows what the Ennis team has been doing all these years.
