Zhang woke up one day 40 years old and grew a set of balls.

    FACTS

Ducked fighting any contenders for a decade before realising he was old and finally growing a set.

What's hrgovic done? Robbed Zhang and sat on a undeserved title shot for 2 years fighting CLUB FIGHTERS

Who else we got? Jalalov? Call me when he steps up in class and takes on Dave Allen.

    Anyone else?

These are the guys that the AJ haters want to shower in undeserved adulation while telling you that AJ who has been campaigning at top 10 for the past almost 10 years is a fraud and a bum

    It's absoloutley pathetic.

Its just standard routine unfortunately. Makhmudov at 34 was another example. Or Ortiz at 39 (at least) at the the time of first Wilder fight and 28-0 and considered some killer but had barely fought anyone.

AJ is one of the lesser offenders although i'm not a fan of his level of opposition post-Usyk. Two guys I was critical of Fury for facing, a guy I was critical of Wilder for facing, and Jermaine Franklin.

I have criticized AJ for alot of things but his resume and quality of opposition is not one of them.

As for alot of the aged contenders, they come from former (or current) communist systems where the fighters typically stay in the amateur ranks for a while and turning pro comes later.

You specifically mention Zhang, Hrgovic, Ortiz and Makhmudov. I've been critical of all of them and one can certainly question the quality of opposition they've faced and their being announced as "bogeymen" of the division.

Ngannou woke up one day 37 years old with zero boxing experience and 0-0 boxing record and decided he wanted high career paydays against top level heavyweights in 10 rounders.

And you guys like it. Enjoy.

Yeah the HW division is in the ****ter. It's so bad that a 40 something year old Chinaman with the gastank of Pricey might be the best in the division

People are forgetting Joshua lost by a stoppage against fat Snicker loving late replacement.

We all should pretend Joshua beats all guys like Sanchez, Zhang..easily.

AJ has fought some top fighters and deserves credit but you're comparing apples to oranges. AJ was always a huge name who could call the shots in every way, whereas the other 2 don't have much of a fanbase and have had to take whatever fights they could get. The reason Hrgovic-Zhang happened is because the IBF went through the rankings, one fighter after another turned it down, and those were the 2 that stepped up.

AJ was built to be a brand when he made his debut. What are you even comparing?

Its hardly Ngannous fault. Blame boxing and his opponents for rushing to fight him instead of each other. Lol @ AJ and Fury fighting the same MMA guy a few months apart when they still havent managed to fight each other after all this time.
