Him and his brother will play the big shot for awhile, retire to the good life, and then shortly be back begging to make a buck from fighters that they refused to fight when they had belts.

      The PBC way.

      Typical.

          From what i've seen.
The guy's a gym rat who loves to fight.

Those 2 Charlo fights were tough on his body.
I think he deserves a little slack for taking some time off after that.

          Plus.
He's with PBC. So fighting once a year isn't too uncommon.
10 months between Charlo 1 and 2, and then an extra 22 months is simply too long...especially if he didn't suffer any injuries. When you lack a certain amount of star-power, inactivity can make you irrelevant.

            Good point.

But then we go back to whether it was by choice.
Or his being tied to PBC had something to do with his inactivity.

If inactivity isn't his choice and his contract allows him to be kept on ice for THIS long, then he's basically a slave.

Absolutely! You are 100 percent correct. It’s a bad combination and mix. It only helps to compound the problem.

It’s very unfortunate that many of these fighters often turn to self-medicating themselves with alcohol and drugs just in order to cope with the pain.

it becomes almost like anesthetic to them. It may temporarily relieve the pain but the problem still remains and never goes away.

                  Tim’s better than charlo

As much as I would have liked seeing Jermell fight Tszyu or Crawford, it feels like him and his brother should just hang up their gloves. From an outsiders prospective, it looks like they are both damaged. They've made their money and boxing is a brutal sport. It usually doesn't get better for fighters when they stay in the game last their prime. Maybe I'm wrong, but we have to remember these are real people behind these gloves.

Charlo fought a much better opponent for a lot more money. But don't let facts get in the way of your false narrative.
