Wait, so your theory is..that the guy who has made a career out of fighting big names when they were between 35-40 yrs old, implemented more catchweight/rehydration clauses than anyone in history, has taken banned substances to gain an unfair edge, suddenly wants to wait to face Benavidez until it’s considered most risky? Ahh man, bless your heart. IF canelo eventually decides to face Benavidez, it’ll be because Benavidez has shown some level of vulnerability and or has moved up in weight and canelo says he’d take the fight if Benavidez drains himself to come back down.

The way I see it, if canelo is stripped or vacates, these two should fight for supremacy. By the way, benavidez and Morell jr are in the same boat, both mandatories and both have "regular or interim belts".

Lmao at the Canelo haters having a meltdown right now. There hasn’t been an official announcement and all they’re doing is their usual crying.

The only ones having a meltdown are Canelo's blitches like you.

Well, I don't know for sure. But if Nell leaves it much longer i m sure Nell will be underdog, even if Benny has to come down from 175. People already think Nell didn't look good against ryder.
So Nell leaving fight much longer don't benefit himself really if winning the fight is important. But if getting credit for win is important, then if one day nelo is underdog I guess it does benefit nelo.
Of course Nell might just be scared, can't rule that out

Benavidez may actually be the favorite now.
