He lost twice to GGG. Lost to Bivol.

Kov was literally six weeks out from getting beat up, and sleeping in the dressing room right before the fight.

You could say alot of current guys had better ten fight runs. But you will point to the opponents rankings at the time and say Canelo fought better fighters.....but as you have been doing since you started this "show me a guy with a better ten fight run", you ignore that Canelo got gifts against an old GGG, Bivol kicked his ass. And the other guys he fought were hand picked.

All of that said, ok. Let's say you are right. And Canelo really has the best ten fight run of all current fighters. If that is true, why wouldn't Canelo just fight his mandatories? You either have to admit that he is cherrypicking and ducking, especially as Benavidez is a huge money fight at this point. Or give another reason as to why Canelo refuses the fight.

Canelo is 33. I have no problem with him not fighting his mandatories if he wants easy fights on his way out the door. But he needs to vacate. Just like Bud should if he isnt going to fight the best at 147. Bud apparently still has the Spence rematch to deal with so he has an excuse at least.

But seriously. Why do you think Canelo just doesnt fight Benavidez and knock him out? Big money and adds to his "greatness".
