I’m hoping he retires. His fights don’t produce what he demands to be paid and he’s bankrupting promotions while showing no interest in fighting actual super middleweights who can give him a fight like Benevidez and Morrell, nor does he have any interest in avenging his most recent loss. I would t at all be upset if he separates from pbc. Hopefully Amazon doesn’t throw away tens possibly hundreds of millions on him for fights against Tijuana cab drivers that don’t help the sport

Gonna keep saying it, but he needs to honor his mandatories if he's going to stay at 168.

I'm sure Amazon learned from DAZN's mistake of investing millions in this guy.

"Who the hell announces that they will make an announcement?" In answer to your question, almost everybody. It goes like this. The principal or organization announces to the press and/or the public that the official announcement will be on such date via such and such medium. In this case, it will be tomorrow via Mexican TV. This type of approach is commonplace and pretty much worldwide.

I think Canelo will get out of the PBC contract and contend at lightheavyweight (175) in attempts to rematch Bivol with stipulations or fight a nearly 40 year old Arthur Beterviev.

DAZN does not have a contract with Alvarez. Their contract is with PBC. The fact that Amazon Prime will not provide upfront money for PBC PPV fights will hurt those fighters more than it will Canelo.

The media is not making it clear whether Canelo's so-called contract with PBC is still ongoing. In my mind it was made only with the presence of SHO, which exited boxing.
