It was a frivolous lawsuit based on feelings and emotions that went nowhere, though.

Putting aside Arum's objectionable language, the essence of what he says is correct: Crawford is not a draw. He's 197 days and counting since his last fight and no one outside of boxing circles cares.

His trainer has been talking about a potential opponent "bringing nothing to the table". If he was a draw that wouldn't matter.

You can't put it aside because he was Crawford's promoter. Lomachenko is not a draw. Neither are a lot of Top Rank fighters. But you don't see Arum publicly calling it out other than with Crawford and Rigondeaux.

Probably because Loma doesn't make ridiculous financial demands the way Crawford does. He's one of many greedy American fighters with a sense of entitlement.

You clearly don't considering that you see nothing wrong with a promoter trashing his fighters.

Who are you to determine what a boxer should be paid? I'm sure you would have said the same about Mayweather when Arum wouldn't pay him what he wanted. Once he left Arum he made more money than he ever would have with Arum and I'm sure Crawford is too.

Teofimo couldn't attract flies t s*it, yet he thinks he is some star. He is just an small, immature pissant compared to crawford.

It's not about what I determine, it's about what an event will generate. Mayweather reached an unusual level of recognition which allowed him to effectively promote himself and control his own pay per views. Crawford hasn't done that, nor will he.

With that said, Crawford is measurably wealthier and more recognised than, not just most other boxers, but people generally. That doesn't seem to be enough for him, hence his rather embarrassing and immature demands for more recognition on social media and his frivolous lawsuit. Even Mayweather used to complain about not getting the recognition he felt he "deserved".

The egos of some of these American boxers is fascinating. They participate in sport which, whilst entertaining, adds no general value to a society. There are people who will go to medical school and invent drugs/save lives who will never come close to the net worth of sportsmen. And yet it's the latter always complaining about a perceived lack of money and recognition.

Compubox had Castillo dominate Mayweather in their first fight. Mayweather still got the gifted victory.

That's true but he was already popular. Jamaine Ortiz? Nobody knows him except hardcore fans.

Could they have given the decision to Ortiz or scored it a draw? Of course but it was no robbery. It was a terrible fight with one guy boxing but not really engaging much and the other guy with ineffective aggression. No one is screaming for a rematch! Except, maybe Ortiz!
