Probably why Haymon never considered signing Ortiz. (High risk, low reward.) Jamaine had been fighting everywhere with an unknown promoter CES. He also fought on 2 Showtime cards. One was a draw and the other was a decision win. He gets most of his fights from Arum.

Bpb pitted him with Loma and Ortiz got rave reviews in that performance. Uncle Al should have recruited him and took advantage of his availability. Frank Martin would have not had to scour the globe and look for a guy named Harutyunyan. There's also De Los Santos and Pitbull Cruz he could have pitted him with. But no offers came from uncle Al. He's not interested.

Only Bob Arum had enough conscience to sign him and provide him a promotional shelter. Thank you Bob Arum!

How do you constantly defend Arum yet criticize others for being promoter fanboys?

I don’t like PED cheats. But do find some explanations for failed tests more believable than others.

Arum is saying the kid didn’t come to fight
                  So it’s a bad showing
Didn’t you also say it was a bad showing

No one watches to be bored!
Well, Mayweather's fights were usually pretty boring, how did he manage to sell tickets?

But let's not forget that CompuBox said that Pacquiao outlanded Jeff Horn. And there, NSB said "well that's what CompuBox said so it must be true".

Let's just be consistent. They're either accurate or they're not.
This is a disingenuous false dichotomy and you probably know it.

Even if CompuBox was 100% accurate it wouldn't necessarily be the deciding factor in who objectively won a boxing match.
