    Take a chance?

There is no one to fight at 154. Boots is the only option. If Bud could fight Avanesyan and Kavaliauskas, what’s the issue with fighting Boots?
There isn't an issue (atleast for me) of Bud and Boou fighting now that Tszyu is busy for now...in fact it will probably be more entertaining than a Spence rematch.

The issue I feel is that Boots seems to have ZERO willingness to even try to fight anyone outside Crawford right now, regardless of how far fetched or what Crawford feels. With the whole rematch fiasco, at this point I have come to accept that Bud probably won't fight anyone in general until around summer again, as usual once per year. Why isn't Boots considering other options in the mean time while pushing for an unlikely Bud fight? He is 26 and he last fought before Crawford last fought. He could've fought once or even twice before Crawford fights anyone next, and still be in line to push for a fight. So if Bud continues to mull his options which obviously doesn't have Boots very high, is Boots going to just sit around and wait for the rest of the year? Bud doesn't care about Boots because he already got the accolades and will do what would get him the most money. Not the greatest feeling for boxing fans wanting to see good matches, but understandable on a business standpoint.

Of course it's ducking. Like I've been saying for months. But NSB isn't trying to hear that though. And I told everyone here that the Spence rematch was smoke and mirrors. He COULD have fought Boots as mandatory - chose not to. He COULD have responded to "come get yo belt back" - chose not to. That's ducking, plain and simple.

Jones is smart. He knows. He said the same thing about Canelo fighting Bivol when he was on the Porter Way Podcast - he basically said that the only reason Canelo took that fight is that Bivol had looked vulnerable just before, but other than that had no logical reason to think he could win.

That's what Crawford wants - for Boots to look weak against someone. Otherwise he's looking for cashout fights. Which is perfectly fine - I just want NSB to stop lying to themselves and admit the man is straight up ducking Boots Ennis.

I'm not a huge fan of either Boots or Bud, so I have zero need to defend or support either one. And I'm not against the Bud vs Boots fight getting made. I'll watch it when it happens. At the end of the day Ennis would still have to answer for his inactivity issue. If he and his fans are okay with it and satisfied with playing blame games directed to Bud, I'll be entertained and popcorn is not that hard to cook.

Ao why do you duck my questions to you ?
Why did Boots refuse not once but twice to fight Bud ?
Why did they pull themselves off the mando list and su****iously decided to go another route ?
Why does Boots only make noise when Bud has a fight scheduled ?
And tweeting send the papers don’t mean chit
So , will you man up ( ha Spence ) and answer the questions I pose you or will you just keep calling Bud a duck so ignorantly ?
Leicesterage , you can change your name but your still the guy who ducks my questions ?
Please explain to me why all those question and facts are getting ducked from a guy who now calls himself Combat
Not very combative are you but really good at ducking yourself aren’t you ?

Combat must be one of the many closet case Spence admirers who just can’t accept the loss so now have jumped ship to Boots

I think bud should fight Ennis. It's who the boxing fans seem to want to see. Boxing fans don't usually tell bud who he should fight like they do with Nelo....with Nelo, names were fired at him from all directions. All people wanted bud to fight was Spence, but bud shouldn't have needed telling to fight spence anyway!
Isn't Inoue fighting Luis nery next? I don't see the issue with Bud taking fight?

There's no fight out there for him more intriguing than Ennis.
The Boots fight is intriguing because of the what if factor, nothing more. Boots is not dominating the division, he hasn't even fought a former welterweight champ. We would love to see what he is made of. You responded to that post about Crawford needing to do more for his legacy, Boots ain't it. Boots is a great fight for us, but terrible response to legacy defining fight. Boots and us are the only people that would benefit from that fight vs the rematch or a title fight at another weight.

Boots is 31-0. Bud seems to have no interest in fighting him.
When Bud fought Avanesyan, Kavaliauskas, Khan and Brook, did we “find out what they were made of”? Would you say Khan was a legacy defining fight for Bud?
