If PBF is building up the hype for the Mosley fight - he`s doing good.

If he means this for sure - all i can say: "Damn right, Floyd! **ck the legacy! You don`t need it! You need your skills, to pay the bills (literally)"...

He got a good career in late 90-s, beginning of 2000-s... It could earn him a place at HoF, but deffinitely not an ATG status (i mean he became just "another" two-division titleholder...)... Since then he did so few to improve his legacy... I mean all fighters you can name are: Judah (oh....), DLH (oh no...) and Hatton (well this win was good!) and that`s it... And don`t even start about JMM - a fattened S.Featherweight...

I admit that Floyd`s skills could let him compete with the best fighters of all time! He could become greater than Whitaker: both had incredible kills, but Mayweather had obvious advantage in punching power... He could compete with Leonard, Duran, Robinson and bla bla bla... But he won`t ever belong to the same sentence with them... Why? All the Floyd fans, please answer one question: would Floyd have enough guts (i`m not talking about stepping into the same ring, God forbid...) to step into the same room with say...

And it is not like, he fights Pac/Cotto winner and that`s it - he satisfied our "needs", hell no! He had to do it after the Hatton fight! Instead he ducked whole WW division and ODLH (few would deny they had an agreed fight for septembet 2008)... And those guys (Shane, Cotto, Clottey, Williams, Cheato and many others) were battling each other, while the "true WW king", being "****** ritch", was in the process of wasting his "billion"...

I mean... it might be really to late... Shane is getting older, Cotto has gone throw so many wars - he can become finished after any fight, Cheato is probably not the same after the vicious KO he suffered at the hands of Mosley...

I just want Floyd to fight the best... Maybe he needs to lose once, not to be afraid about his "clean" record, so that will let him fight ANYBODY out there... I just don`t believe he is a coward... I mean the guys who step into the ring can`t be cowards... Maybe he just afraids to lose his "0"...

It is nice to be a fan of a good fighter, especially "The Winner"... But i cannot be a Floyd Mayweather fan... Not yet...

P.S. to those imbeciles who think that fighters don`t have to fight the best to prove who the best is... They don`t need to do that in only one case - when they admit they fight only for the paychecks... BUT! In this very case, such fighters do not dare admit they are among the ATGs... Floyd has a bit of oxymoron within himself...

I will never understand why some people defend Floyd. It's a total mystery. And when his fans defend him, they just repeat the same irrational rhetoric he spews. Is Floyd paying these people to defend him?? His charity work that was portrayed in 24/7 was pretty pathetic and none of those people he was helping seemed to care or respect him either.

This is America, I know Floyd has the right to act like an arrogant, superficial, immature brat in public. But for those actions to earn fans and defenders has totally baffled me!!

If any sports fan actually believes that Floyd doesn't need to fight Shane to be the #1 welterweight and that a Mayweather-Mosley fight is not a mega event for the sport, then they need to check themselves into hospital.

If Floyd fights Mosley first he wont get to Pac , he needs to fight the winner of Pac Cotto first then Mosley , the haters are screaming Mosley but Mosley is booked so a possible fight would fall right when a possible Pac Cotto fight would slot in so the timing of what Floyd does depends on Pac Cotto , if Mosley wasnt booked Id say go for it but it cant happen without jeopardizing the winner of Pac Cotto , all these guys fight only a couple of times a year so its not real hard to work out whats going on .

If you Floyd stans think that Mayweather is going to get the Pac-Cotto winner before Mosley does, you don't know what it do. Mosley will bring just as much as, if not more money to the table than Mayweather will because he won't price himself out against those guys like Floyd will. And if Cotto beats Pacquiao, Arum will likely match him against Margarito. Say what you will, but at least Margarito has the balls to fight everybody in the division regardless of whether or not he's a cheater. The fight is a no-brainer because the winner will automatically get a shot at the Pac-Cotto winner with more leverage going in. Mark my words. Pacquiao will give Mosley a shot before he gives Floyd one. And sure, you will accuse the people who criticize Floyd for using double standards, but at least Shane will make the weight if he fights Pacquiao unlike Mayweather would. i consider oscar as a great fighter because even though he lost all his biggest fight he at least had the guts to step in the ring and fought everybody in his weight classes. and majority of his opponents were at their peek in their careers when he fought him. he kept the fights competitive and gave it his all. that to me in my opinion makes a figher great. being undefeated dont mean **** if you avoided fighting opponents who can present a problem.

JMM being the #2 p4p fighter has nothing to do with anything and it doesnt mean anything, JMM is a LW.

I agree Floyd should fight better fighters, and shame on him if he don't. The dude that said RJJ is the "GOAT" is crazy. RJJ moved to HW and fought RUIZ. If he was really the "GOAT" he would have moved up in weight earlier in his career as he showed he was capable of doing and fought Holyfield, Tyson, etc. Bottom line is: Floyd either needs Pac, Cotto, Mosley, or Clottey.
