The media and fan hype has done very little to change the position of Floyd Mayweather Jr. He appears to have no interest in a fight with WBA welterweight champion Shane Mosley. Mayweather is still holding a grudge over Mosley turning down his fight request in 1999. Mayweather told boxing scibe Tim Smith that a fight with Mosley was important back then, but he doesn't need Mosley now. He's got to fight someone legit. If he takes a soft touch in his next outing then I hope people will understand, talented that he is ,that he is looking exclusively for minimal risk. I'd be very pleased if he takes on Pacman after he takes care of Cotto.
