Another thousand post thread...
If PBF is building up the hype for the Mosley fight - he`s doing good.
If he means this for sure - all i can say: "Damn right, Floyd! **ck the legacy! You don`t need it! You need your skills, to pay the bills (literally)"...
He got a good career in late 90-s, beginning of 2000-s... It could earn him a place at HoF, but deffinitely not an ATG status (i mean he became just "another" two-division titleholder...)... Since then he did so few to improve his legacy... I mean all fighters you can name are: Judah (oh....), DLH (oh no...) and Hatton (well this win was good!) and that`s it... And don`t even start about JMM - a fattened S.Featherweight...
I admit that Floyd`s skills could let him compete with the best fighters of all time! He could become greater than Whitaker: both had incredible kills, but Mayweather had obvious advantage in punching power... He could compete with Leonard, Duran, Robinson and bla bla bla... But he won`t ever belong to the same sentence with them... Why? All the Floyd fans, please answer one question: would Floyd have enough guts (i`m not talking about stepping into the same ring, God forbid...) to step into the same room with say...

Or he would think that the "flicker" jab
(read execution) would be a "bad" fight to sell...
And it is not like, he fights Pac/Cotto winner and that`s it - he satisfied our "needs", hell no! He had to do it after the Hatton fight! Instead he ducked whole WW division and ODLH (few would deny they had an agreed fight for septembet 2008)... And those guys (Shane, Cotto, Clottey, Williams, Cheato and many others) were battling each other, while the "true WW king", being "****** ritch", was in the process of wasting his "billion"...
I mean... it might be really to late... Shane is getting older, Cotto has gone throw so many wars - he can become finished after any fight, Cheato is probably not the same after the vicious KO he suffered at the hands of Mosley...
I just want Floyd to fight the best... Maybe he needs to lose once, not to be afraid about his "clean" record, so that will let him fight ANYBODY out there... I just don`t believe he is a coward... I mean the guys who step into the ring can`t be cowards... Maybe he just afraids to lose his "0"...
It is nice to be a fan of a good fighter, especially "The Winner"... But i cannot be a Floyd Mayweather fan... Not yet...
P.S. to those imbeciles who think that fighters don`t have to fight the best to prove who the best is... They don`t need to do that in only one case - when they admit they fight only for the paychecks... BUT! In this very case, such fighters do not dare admit they are among the ATGs... Floyd has a bit of oxymoron within himself...Comment

If Floyd fights Mosley first he wont get to Pac , he needs to fight the winner of Pac Cotto first then Mosley , the haters are screaming Mosley but Mosley is booked so a possible fight would fall right when a possible Pac Cotto fight would slot in so the timing of what Floyd does depends on Pac Cotto , if Mosley wasnt booked Id say go for it but it cant happen without jeopardizing the winner of Pac Cotto , all these guys fight only a couple of times a year so its not real hard to work out whats going on .Comment

Mosley and Williams are the best,then you got Clottey,Cheato,Cotto and Pac,then Berto,Collazo,Judah,Cintron in the third league,and Hatton,Baldomir,a blown up JMM in the low league of WW worldclass.
