Anyone sick of Jaron "Boots" Ennis not making himself active enough?

Difference is like night and day. That's why I don't see Jaron Ennis fighting as often as possible. He started in January this year and still ended up doing 2 fights. His team's choice of fights is like using a filter with tiny sieves.

Man, at this point I don't care too much who he fights next as long as he's keeping himself active. That's the main premise of this thread.

That's the problem with fighters these days and the boxing business model. They pay you so much once you score that "moment" fight, that so many fighters are scared to lose that moment. They rather pump the brakes and slow down on how often they fight as they feel they can jeopardize their future. Instead now, social media, talking online and talk your way into a mega fight. Win or lose, you score a huge paycheck and winning, you move on to the next huge paycheck.
Back with no social media, fighters HAD to fight to stay relevant and so people knew they existed. You couldn't afford to sit back and wait for that phone call, literally. Smaller paychecks and having to make a name for yourself.
Now, it's bigger paychecks by simply speaking loud.Comment

What? Fulton faced Angelo Leo, Brandon Figueroa, Danny Roman, and Naoya Inoue in four consecutive fights and also has a win over Paulus Ambunda. Plus he took the 0s away from several other guys on the way up like Greer, Khegai, Avelar, Lopez, etc.
Fulton may have lost to Inoue but you can't accuse him of being inactive or ducking challenges. Guy did it the hard way.Comment

For stay busy fights, the welterweight division is not entirely a waste land. Lots of 2nd tier souls are waiting for that call itching to go back in the ring ASAP. They'll fight kingkong if they need to just to put food on their families' table. So this narrative about being turned down is complete BS. People need to stop repeating such nonsense.Comment

Barrios is not a stay-busy fight. Mario called him out and he can't even secure that fight. A sure win for Boots. For stay busy fights, the welterweight division is not entirely a waste land. thanks alot, im sure fans will scoff at theseEimantas Stanionis Has No Problem With Facing Jaron Ennis Next, Loathes Tune-Ups
There’s simply no other way to put it. Things have flat-out been a disaster for Eimantas Stanionis as of late. April 16th, 2022, was essentially his proudest moment as a pro. On the night, the Lithuanian born contender achieved a lifelong dream of becoming a world champion, albeit a secondary one.
Mario Barrios Feels Ready To Fight Jaron Ennis or Any of The Elite at 147
Mario Barrios might be a lot of things but one thing that he’s not, is afraid to get into a fistfight. He wasn’t scared to lose his undefeated record to Gervonta Davis. He didn't show any trepidation when he was asked to move up to a weight class he never competed in to take on Keith Thurman. He also wasn't unnerved when the name Yordenis Ugas slid across his desk.
