Just a passing remark on my part. It's evident in the video Bozy wants none of it for a host of reasons, anyways, regardless of the money part.
It's all relative. Hearn being the only one who has shown interest in signing Boots, there could be a good start for Boots somewhere.
I don't even think Eddie would pit Benn, Boots together right away. But these are all just speculations.

He's active, he simply isn't making matches with anyone, anybody cares about.

He wants Crawford (and Spence) but that's not going to happen.

But instead of challenging himself, he goes and fights random generated guys like Crawford did.

The first name Benn mentioned after the ban was lifted was Boots.

        Boots is ignoring it

Sounds like its for ped reasons to me. And even as a cat who's been watching boxing a long time idk how the fook they do drug testing in the UK or who/when/if they tell all parties & how TUE exemptions work over there & all kinds of other stuff. Its very secretive, more low profile than the US anyway. And there are a lot of rumors by trainers here that ped usage is rampant in some gyms over there & one of the reasons so many UK guys get fooked up orbitals lately is cuz some specific ped fooks up your bone density. Maybe Bozy knows something or has heard something along those lines. I think EVERYONE sees Benn is one of the most obvious cases of PED usage these days tho. Idk if I've ever seen such a wild transition by a fighter then Benn a few yrs back vs today. So if he thinks that or similar type sh^t I wouldn't fault him for that tbh.

That said money talks & bs walks so if that was some $5M or more type fight I kinda think they'd take it, but I don't see it as that big of a fight. Benn's rep in the UK even seems in question lately so whatever he was doing before $-wise/fan-wise might not even be the same as what he brings in now.

32 fights at 26 is not inactive. Stanionis is 29 and he's only got 15 fights. And Eimantas is already being pitted against Ennis, who is touted to be the next Crawford, while Ennis is only starting to fight at high-level matchups. (Can't help but wonder why only now.) Just shows not anyone can have the luxury of a business-focused team able to feed you with a long line of non-threatening fights. Hence achieving a zero loss record is almost impossible.

I wouldn't say sick of him I don't know the man personally. It's frustrating for sure the lack of activity and lack of challenges on the horizon in terms of stepping up competition.

He passes the eye test sure but isn't super marketable and is considered high risk low reward for most elite opponents out there I can see a career like andrade if he doesn't catch a break soon.
real raw real raw likes this.

Indeed. That's why I don't see him doing 3 stay-busy fights in a year, the point of which is to increase his visibility. I would think Bozy sees such thing as pointless. So they're expected to keep doing what they're doing, wait around and take the fight they think is sensible for Ennis.

when he should have pursued those types of fights earlier in his career? The intention is simply not there from the very beginning.
Too bad Vergil Ortiz Jr. wasn't able to stay long in the ww division. He fought Kavaliauskas in his 18th fight. He then signed to fight Avanesyan, who backed out of the fight. Ennis just doesn't have the adventuristic sense like Ortiz have. Can't wait to see him giving Tzsyu the fight of Tim's life.

I'm sure Vergil Ortiz would have balls to fight Tzsyu eventually.
