He is basically a middleweight and he can`t break much smaller guys.

    This dude is highly overrated.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s on that Mayweather IV drip masking PEDs while rehydrating.
Boxing itself is already a dangerous sport. I guess for it to be safer, rehydration clauses can be of something - yet people will find some excuse when their fighters lose to it. I'm all for as long as you can make the weigh on weigh-in day.

Didn't the IBF remove their 10lb rehydration clauses, because they claimed it to be "too dangerous" when fighters are weight drained?

I know you have a hate boner for haney but both aren't fighting in their natural weightclasses, which are middleweight and super middleweight, it's just one going to the extreme more than the otherguy.
Little azz Regis is not a middleweight

            true.

but even if haney has no boost in power, he gets other boost in stats.

            when you have weight advantages,
this stacks the difficulty on your opponent

            when you have weight advantages,
you have advantages in other factors like stamina, punch resistance, physical strength.

you stack pounds, it's like having heavier and durable armor.

that why prograis couldnt do nothing

Rehydration aside, he falls under the 154-160 division so he's technically a middleweight.

Obviously he shouldn't be fighting anywhere near that since he's gonna be matched against guys that are a minimum 170 on fight night.

What I'm trying to say is you cant criticize someone when everybody is doing it, just some take it to a higher degree than others.

165lbs in the 140 division is crazy.

He should be fighting at 154...... could you imagine his power there? he woudl be like paulie M at 154.
He's only 25 years old and is probably still growing. However, I will say this; At this pace, I don't expect him to remain at 140 for too long.

Since, he is still straining to barely make the weight limit like he did at 135. I believe that if he campaigned anywhere between 147-154; Then it would make for a very comfortable fit for him.

Everyone right now technically is a weight bully relative to the classic fighters from the past (with the exception of some fighters)

Nowadays the weigh-ins are now actually 30-plus hours before the bell rings, you'll see guys looking to fight at weights they really don't belong in. You can see 6ft+ mfers at 140 and below.

Normally Pac and Floyd would've stopped Margarito and Canelo, but because of the rehydrated weights, they were able to resist/withstand the punches and be more durable.

At age 25; Haney has now reached his physical peak. So now the aging process has kicked in. Therefore, it is time for him to move up in weight again.

He shouldn't weigh any less than a hundred fifty four pounds on the day of the weigh in. Moreover, those 36 hour weigh ins should be outlawed. No wonder he displayed so much firepower against Prograis.

All one has to do is to see how much he weighed on fight night.
