Looking at this logically.... Wilder might be referring to Fury's use of PED's as he had in the past. That said, Wilder won't come out and just say it because he might also incriminate himself. Equally possible is that Wilder is full of shyt.
It's all speculation.Last edited by factsarenice; 12-11-2023, 11:55 AM.Comment

There were definite questions about the gloves (I forgot which fight that was). People who deny that are crazy. You can even see the glove unlaced when Fury is lying on the canvas. There is video evidence that at least something was not right there. Cunningham has also said this. But as for Wilder's claims - yes he has no evidence. But in his defence he *was* in there with Fury. Miguel Cotto knew something was up when he got put down by that guy who cheated. He also had no evidence at that point. Going against Wilder though - I'm sure I remember him blaming his defeat on his heavy walk-on costume and he also said he had flu. So why only bring up the cheating much later if it existed?
I completely agree. I just don't see any evidence for Fury cheating against Wilder in their second fight.
Fury did an amazing job of changing the narrative by claiming he was suicidal etc when he ran from boxing until his ban was done, then coming back not as a villain but as some kinda hero. And almost everyone forgot he used PEDS against Hammer and bought the story of the boar meat lol. And before the Ngannou fight there was talk of Fury as an ATG heavyweight which just goes to show how easily the public opinion is altered.
That being said, he beat Wilder fair and square tho it was paper thin in the third with the Tipsy King falling like a sack of potatoes from a rabbit punch and getting a very long count. Since then he fought two plodding weight bullies and an MMA guy. He got yet another paper thin win. I will be very surprised if Fury actually gets in the ring against Usyk. I just don't think Fury wants it because it's risky. Just like he didn't want the Wilder III fight. Soft touches and trash talk are his forte.
Nevetheless, Wilder is delusional about his own talents and in denial about getting beat pillar to post.
Fury took the Uysk fight after Dubois made him look beatable - that's how that happened. So it could happen but I wouldn't be surprised if Fury gets pulled out by his team. They will probably say he needs a mental health breakComment

Under UK law a NDA cannot be used to cover up evidence of any kind of wrongdoing by either side. US and UK law are both based upon English Common Law, so I assume the same thing applies both sides of the pond.
Problem might be that if Wilder brings it up in the public forum, it might be considered legally inadmissible, or he might be contractually prevented from mentioning it due to standard NDC in the fight contracts. However, if he gets sued, he's legally permitted to enter evidence despite those because it's part of his defense. That's why guilty people rarely sue for defamation, because if proof actually exists, a lawsuit permits the party being sued to enter it into evidence.
Not saying that's what's going on here. But if Fury ever has cheated, a defamation lawsuit allows evidence on the record, maybe even from past fights, that they'd have been prevented from saying otherwise. You ever notice how boxers never actually give details about contractual things they're complaining about?

You are damn right and so do you and the rest of this forum all believe that Fury cheated Wilder in order to win those fights. The evidence is so irrefutable, indisputable and incontrovertible. So quit the bullshit act! You know what the fuck is up!Comment

If what you wrote there was true, then the results of the fights would have been overturned.
The truth is .... there is no evidence.Comment

It's not "any kind of wrongdoing" in either place. It's specifically "illegal activity". Being illegal in boxing is not the same as being illegal in society. There's a lot of things that aren't allowed by commissions, etc, but you're not going to go to jail for breaking those rules. So that's particular exception doesn't do you any good unless you have been sued.
Again, I am not saying I believe Wilder. I do think Fury is a cheat. In fact, he's a proven cheat, who got off light by playing the mental health card. Whether he did in their fights or not, I do not know. But suing for defamation allows a lot of things to enter evidence that wouldn't otherwise be permitted. So we'll see if he ever uses Wilder. I really doubt he will.Comment
