Don't recall GRJ ever being considered as a P4P fighter. Russell has P4P talent, but his lack of interest in boxing is why people see him for what you described him as. If you wanna base it by resume, Stevenson's is much better than Russell's and he's much younger. And that that Stevenson's resume is decent but nothing amazing. But in his two biggest fights against Valdez and Herring, who were top guys when he fought them, he dismantled and outclassed them. Gotta give him some credit. Can't even recall any notable wins on Russell's resume other than an old Gonzalez. Beat some decent guys but has no marquee wins and only fight once a year against mandatories. Just don't see it the same way.Comment

Yet, he dominates his opponents and leaves them clueless on how to deal with him. May not be the biggest puncher, but he sure hits them hard enough to keep them honest. His pure boxing ability ain't the prettiest to watch for the supposed boxing "fans", but he is a textbook boxer of the highest degree. Any fighter that fights Stevenson knows exactly what he is and what he does so it's on them to find ways and make adjustments to negate all that. They just can't do it bc, like him or not, he's just that good. Skills pay the bills all day.
Challenge them to a track race. It was a Formula weekend, Shakur was the one doing Laps around the ring. Stevenson is not a fighter, he just there to play tag. He talks to much shiat and doesn't even engage. Is feather fisted and has no inside game. Needs to extend his jab or step back to maintain his distance and pity pat his opponents.Comment

I’m not ready for shakur vs anyone bro, it’s too soon I’m still mad at his last performance. I’m gonna have to hear about it, then I’ll think about risking waisting my time on a shakur fight again, if I hear something good from his performanceComment

Well, that's the nature of the business. You get what you can negotiate for. If the terms aren't acceptable to an individual, then don't accept them. If they're accepted, ain't no excuses after that. Can't act like nobody ever seen a smaller man try to negiotiate better terms for him against a bigger man. Size matters. Has happened a million times throughout our boxing lifetime. This ain't new. Don't like the nature of the way he put it out there, but it boxing is a business first and always will be so it is what it is.Comment

Russell and Stevenson both run their mouths and never fight anybody we want to see. That’s all they have in common. As far as in the ring goes I never rated GRJ at all. Other than hand speed I don’t see much ability there.

I been preaching just this broths trust me I’m with you 100 percent and I’ve said it here before. Two grown men agree to fight under the terms they’ve agreed too and then go cash then checks to the bank, don’t wanna hear none of that bs afterwards. But, make these lames up in here understand that. They refuse like broken hearted females.

Can you believe this guy? After his last performance; Does he actually think his fights will sell? Besides, he got nothing to bargain with. He has no fanbase, not a box office draw and doesn't put enough meat in the seats in order for King Ry to even consider such a proposition
