Do us a favor please, go watch SRL vs Duran 2 and see how the great SRL “runs” for 7 rounds.
Thanks for the invite, but I'll pass. Just because somebody else may have done something similar doesn't negate anything I said. My statement is about Stevenson.

That somebody is considered by many to be in the top 5 greatest boxers ever. If it’s good for him, it’s gotta be good for Shakur

I'm not sure you can come to that conclusion with just that information.

This is Shakur's style. And that style may have been used by some fighters in the past, and lots of them now, but that doesn't make Shakur a fun to watch fighter. I'm guessing it bores way more people than it excites.

And no matter what anyone says about any other fighter, this "fight" was the worst I ever remember watching, from the standpoint of being boring and frustrating.

There's a lot of ways to win fights and titles (including paying a judge). And different people have different views of what winning is. We all agree that a KO or TKO is a win. But l, at the very least, I think most fans prefer to watch way more action that Shakur may be prepared to supply when he meets quality opponents.

That’s fair enough. I don’t disagree that it was a terribly boring fight. My thing is Shakur will have many other opportunities AND if it is a pattern then it’s def a problem.
Shakur is Uber talented and I think against the like of Haney for example, he will step it up. I just do not want to write him off.
