ring generalship. Ngannou held centre of the ring. Ngannou

fury lost on all judging criterias.
clearly you have no idea how to score a fight. There's 12 rounds in a fight. You can do more damage in 4 rounds and still lose 8 rounds and lose the fight.

Yes its almost like one sport is called MIXED MARTIAL ARTS and allows the entire skillset of a bunch of different combat sports to be used in it or something....

I meant just using his hands. Ciryl is also a master kickboxer. And that's the point. They do a bunch of arts and don't excel at one. Name me one d 1 wrestler who became a top ten boxer in a couple of years. I'll name you tons of d 1 wrestlers who became top level ufc fightters.

Mma isn't on the level of boxing when it comes to talent and atheltcism. It's levels below.

So Ciryl is a "master kickboxer" who doesnt excel in any one area? what?

Uhh maybe because one sport allows that D1 wrestler to use his wrestling skillset and the other doesnt? also wouldnt you say D1 wrestlers excel at wrestling? I thought nobody excels at any one thing in MMA?

Not sure this is really the time to be saying that considering Ngannou/Fury......

How exactly do we quantify "talent" here? wouldnt MMA fighters be favoured to beat boxers under most rulesets? seems kind of weird to say someone is less talented than the person whos ass they just kicked...

As far as athleticism goes, again not sure how we quantify that considering boxing doesnt really allow a fighters athletic ability to be expressed in the same way. You're not seeing Showtime kicks, Rampage slams, Michel Pereira type **** in boxing are you?

The same reason you play soccer your whole life and can never be a boxing champion.

I can assure you one thing though, no boxing champion can go to mma and become a champion, whether it's two or 5 fights.

We've seen what happened when mma guys came to boxing against the so called best.

MMA GUYS? You mean when connor got stopped by a guy who's 2 weight classes smaller than him and past his prime and hasn't stopped anyone for a decade. lmao. ONE GUY. You trying to show one guy as an example of what happens when an mma guy goes to boxing is ****ing hilarious. He's the exception not the rule. He's an anomaly. He's been boxing for 20 years. His whole game in mma is knock you out with his hands. He's an elite boxer. He almost never goes to the ground.

Pick any other weight class in mma and have the champs fight the top 5 boxers in each weight class and they would die in the ring. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN AN MMA FIGHTER TURNS PRO.

People are still losing sleep over this smh. Tyson Fury is one of my favorite boxers but i can admit hes a disgrace to what most of us consider an athlete to be

Most people dont question his skill level but whether you love or hate Floyd Mayweather he always showed up in great shape and ready to execute his gameplan

Tyson Fury has shown up to several of his fights looking like he just ate a buffet. And i believe Tyson beat Francis but barely. I had him winning 6 rounds

This isnt an embarrassment for the sport of boxing. Put the blame on Tyson and his lack of discipline

Anderson silva outboxed former champion chavez.

The self proclaimed goat needed 10 rounds to get rid of an mma fighter that has a round and half max in the tank.

The "best heavyweight" got gifted a decision against an 0-0 37 year old non boxer.

Not a single boxer is lasting a minute in mma, and stop it with the bs that he was boxing for 20 years, he wasnt, he's an mma fighter that does mma.

It's kinda pathetic that you have to put so many stipulations just so the boxer can get a win, first it was they'd get destroyed by bums, then top 20 then top 5 then champs, then oh pick another division.

                      Pathetic.

Enjoy boxing for what it is.
