Both of them were more like, "Come and get me, I'm not going to."

When EDLS pushes, they end up getting entangled and hold on for dear life. But what can you do? EDLS should have repeated the same steps throughout the entire fight. At least, he's seen doing something, but he just preferred taunting Shakur, and the clock was ticking with the audience anticipating a sure UD win for Stevenson.

Was frustrating especially for someone who wanted an upset result.

The crowd are booing and I gotta be honest, I can't say I blame them. They came here to see a fight tonight and this guy Stevenson is stinking the joint out. I don't see too many more big opportunities coming his way in future after this performance. 7-1, DLS.

Perhaps the same way the judges scored in favor of Oscar over Sturm or Williams over Martinez (1st fight) or Juan Diaz over Malignaggi (1st fight) or Canelo over Lara or Canelo over GGG (1st fight)

Here’s the difference though, Shakur’s got Bob Arum behind him so he will get opportunities. Besides, who else can Tank or Haney fight other than Shakur.
I’m pretty certain De Los Santos KO’s Haney if they ever fought

I wonder if he realizes that using the word "too" in this context is an inclusion of himself.

the question is, why is he scared of someone who he thinks is scared of him?

why didn't he capitalize on a scared opponent?

Damage control by fighters never works out well.

Sissyboy Shakira Steveson that was the most b i t c h made "fight" I've seen thus far.

Sissy Steve even gives Floyd Merryrunner a good run for his money.

Exactly bro! They'll manipulate the story about the A-side every time. Can you imagine Kriegels dilemma if Stevenson fought an immigrant farmer turned boxer? Kriegels head would start spinning and does not compute smoke would shoot out his ears.

If both fighters do shhit, then score it 0-0, and only score 1-0 for the figher who clearly won that round. Runners who refuse to engage will be saddled with more draws in their record = less fan draw = less money.
Yeah, we could have some good conversations about this topic. Everybody complains about bad judging and corruption in this sport (which does certainly exist), but I've insisted for forever that the biggest problem in boxing in the nonsense scoring system. I agree about the arbitrariness of the 10-pt must system, but it does at least ALLOW for an even (10-10) round. The aversion of fans and judges to actually scoring even rounds even is the problem, but I think the bigger problem is the competing scoring criteria. Clean punching and Damage Inflicted should be the only criteria considered when scoring a fight. Defense, so-called 'Effective Aggression' and Ring Generalship are all just incidental to landing clean punches and hurting the opponent, so it just muddies the water trying to factor those into the calculus. Having these other nonsense criteria allows fans to pick and choose which criteria matters for them, for that round, which allows them to give a guy (their fighter) a round for good defense or slick movement, even if he landed no punches. Imagine if basketball or football allowed the winner to be decided by anything but points scored?
