You claim Warren should have stepped in ? And what exactly is Warren going to to had he did that besides get embarrassed on that stage and be informed the promoters are there to represent their fighters if they wish which is why he didn’t say anything and chuckled ? Lol

It’s not a Queensbury event , I’d in fact be shocked if we see that guy again anywhere near Joshua during any press conferences who probably got sacked by Joshua’s orders because in FACT it’s the Joshua show he’s the main event etc etc and he’s what they are relying on , nit some silly little man appointed to ask questions for one day or guys who lose them money . Lol

Yeah that's the TV rights, not the promotion.

No I said I'm surprised he didn't step in. Meaning Dev Sahni had been appointed to host the show so obviously he was asking the questions to all the fighters like the host usually does.

AJ asks why his promoter isn't asking him the questions. Well the easy answer there is because it's the host who asks the questions which was Dev Sahni.

So, if I was Warren, that's what I'd have said, that the host is asking the questions, that's why.

Sacked by Joshua's orders? Don't be ridiculous.

      Could happen though.

Tank-Garcia was on DAZN, amongst others.

I don't know why you put quotations marks on promote there because that's what Haymon does, appoints Ellerbe to promote/host the shows just like seeminly the Saudi's have done with Warren and co here.

But it's not going to be a Frank Warren show, or it wouldn't be going to DAZN.

ESPN and TNT have exclusive broadcasting rights to all Warren's shows in the US and the UK.
It could be on DAZN. It goes wherever the Saudi's want it.

They have the bucket of money and they just do what they want.

I put quotation marks on "promote" because that's what you did in your comment I replied to.

Tank vs Garcia was a co-promotion. So is the Saudi show. Warren is one of the co-promoters, but he's not running the show and he doesn't have any control over how much money Eddie and AJ are making or who gets the broadcast rights.

            Well yeah I agree there.

He's running the show in the same way Ellerbe does for Haymon i.e he has no control but he's the front man it seems.

Frank Warren is co-promoting the show along with Eddie Hearn and 4 others. But he isn't the lead promoter. If he was then it would be on TNT in the UK and ESPN in the US, because they have exclusive rights to broadcast all Franks shows.
You need a licensed boxing promoter to promote licensed boxing even. Doesn’t matter if it’s Saudi, Zaire or the Moon. You don’t know what you’re talking about.

The broadcast rights are separate, take Usyk-AJ 2 for example, Hearn had an exclusive deal with DAZN yet the fight landed on Sky, so by your delusional logic that would make Shalom the lead promoter for that event. Again no idea what you’re taking about.

Frank is the lead promoter for this event, learn to cope and move the hell on you sad little man.

Again ... for maybe the 10th time?

Eddie Hearn was not the lead promoter of Usyk/AJ~2.

It wasn't a Matchroom show so DAZN had no exclusive right to broadcast it.

Why does it matter so much to you that Warren has to be the lead promoter? Are you not going to be able to watch it if he isn't?

You don't need a promoters licence to stage a boxing event. Especially if the event is in Saudi Arabia and you are a minister in the Saudi government working on behalf of the Crown Prince!

Licenced promoters are only needed if you want to have licenced fighters competing in officially sanctioned fights on the card.

Hearn blatantly was the lead promoter for Usyk-AJ 2.

Just like Warren is clearly the lead promoter for AJ-Wallin/ Wilder-Parker.

I’ve never had any problem with it, you quoted me all insecure when I said isn’t it crazy that Frank Warren is promoting a Joshua fight in 2023 when he looked finished years ago.

And probably 10+ pages and multiple days later you’re still whining like an insecure little b****. Learn to cope.

Literally every single fighter on this card is licensed and having a licensed fight you dumb f***.

You just continue to embarrass yourself.

Name one professional boxing match, sanctioned by the WBC, WBA, IBF, BBBofC and whoever else are involved in this show that didn’t require a licensed promoter?
