I thought it was obvious myself but apparently not, I’ve had a plethora of excuses, most laughably, the order of the promoters on boxrec which he didn’t even realise was alphabetical.

It’s obvious Warren is just a frontman for the Saudi’s the same way King was for Mobutu or even Brown is for Haymon but he’s still the lead promoter for this show. I don’t get why that is such a massive issue for these guys.

The Saudi Arabian government don't need a boxing promoters licence to fund, stage, publicise and sell tickets and broadcast rights for a boxing event in their own country, jackass!

And they don't need to employ Frank Warren to do that for them. They can whatever the fuck they want!


Frank Warren is co-promoting the show along with Eddie Hearn and 4 others. But he isn't the lead promoter. If he was then it would be on TNT in the UK and ESPN in the US, because they have exclusive rights to broadcast all Franks shows.
