Crawford just defended the IBF title 3 months ago and now they are already giving away his belt? that makes no sense when Jermall Charlo is still the WBC middleweight champ, hasnt defended it in 29 months and is being allowed to take a non title fight against a super lightweight.

They wonder why there are so few undisputed champs because the ABCs make up the rules as they go along. The WBC outright told Bivol that he wouldnt be "allowed" to fight for Canelo's WBC title at 168 even if he makes the weight and wins..... effectively just preventing him from being allowed to ever be undisputed in 2 weight classes at the same time, they just changed their rules on a whim to protect Canelo.
We could and I do just kinda disregard titles and robberies too. We all know who the top 3 fighters in every division are, the belts are nothing more than marketing tools. Watch Barrios get bumped to full WBC right before unifying with Boots so he can be billed as unified 147lb champion.

      This really isn’t hard.

I said multiple times that he should have agreed to fight Boots while waiting for Spence to make up his mind. Boots was the mandatory.
You are a fvkcing moron. How was Crawford suppose to fight booty within 30 days of Spencerina making his mind up for the rematch? You think Spencer was just gonna step aside and let them fight? It woulda made the negotiations even harder had he not activated the rematch. ****ing dumbass

Nope, interim is bogus. Again let me try and explain for the slower people.

Crawford is unavailable because of rematch clause right? Right.

So then make Booty fight the next highest rated opponent in the IBF rankings. Simple.

Canelo indirectly benefits from WBC's behavior, but I don't think that's the primary goal. They're also not allowing Bivol to become Undisputed at LHW either because of his Russian nationality. WBC is fxcking with Bivol to illustrate how "woke" they are.

Shakur was the mandatory to Haney, he did not fight him. WBC didn't just hand the belt to Shakur, he has to fight for it.

Boots played this well. I'm not a huge fan of either Spence or Crawford and I didn't care who won, but I DO NOT LIKE BOOTS!!! It's just hard to like a guy that sits around for almost a decade doing nothing only to be rewarded for it.

Crawford is an idi.ot. he became undisputed and "next day" he already started talking like: I am moving up, I have no intention to fight Ennis, I will rematch spence but probably at 154., I would love to fight Canelo at 168 next.

he made it pretty much clear he has no interes to defend his titles at 147. IBF just did their job. Ennis has a career too.

Major outlets like Boxing Scene need to stop writing sentences like, "Crawford is no longer undisputed champion." Anyone who knows anything about boxing knows that Crawford the *the champion of the world. Period. It doesn't matter what some alphabet organization says. Boxing Scene, as a matter of journalistic accuracy may have to mention the alphabet organizations from time to time, but from the standpoint of history, and the integrity of the sport as an athletic endeavor, the alphabet belts do not designate the world champion. They just don't.

Maybe so, just saying he don’t have an excuse to not fight another champion anymore. It’s not like bud Crawford is AJ in the UK or canelo in America nowhere near. Most people in buds position wouldn’t face a guy like boots anyway so it’s no shame. It’s a business decision lol
