I mean, I'm not picky. Villa was a good win. Just want him to be more active, take on all comers, unify with the other soon-to-be email titlists like Stanionis, who sounds like he's up for the smoke. He's skilled and fun to watch and can reignite the division if he's willing to be active. I'm hoping more guys will be willing to fight him now that he's got the full title.

Probably Crowley would be the most likely.

Have noticed IBF is faster than all sanctioning organizations in stripping titles if they don't
get their cashish fix fast enough to suit their liking. Don't expect them to wait forever, but
the Crawford/Spence rematch is way more important than whatever IBF demands.

This is why we need proper boxing journalism rather than morons with YouTube channels chasing "engagement". Holding the sanctioning bodies to account should be a priority and if done properly could lead to their downfall. They are ultimately private businesses working in their own interests, not boxing's.

Not a fan of just giving the belt away. It devalues earning belt even more, now in an atmosphere that money > belt

Isn't that what Spence is doing ?

It is good for boxing. If Crawford wants to be undisputed again, he must beat Ennis.

Ennis is actually the fight I want him to take.

                    Fury fought Del Bum 3x
I'm sure boxing didn't need 8 SRR vs Jake

Then again, there can be glory in revenge matches -
                    AJ vs Ruiz
                    Lennox vs Rahman and McCall

                    Spence was better than that
However, if a beating was so one sided, the rematch should be pushed back 1 fight.

I don't mind mind stripping the champ if they can't fulfill their mandatory obligations, its only right....

But i think the title should be fought for by the next two highest ranked in the division, instead of just placing it on someone else.

A title should be won in the ring, even if its vacant before the fight. Surely a fighter would prefer that too?

Doing it this way basically strips them of the feeling of winning their first world title.
