That would make my day. Unlikely, but would be proper karma.

        I like the Tipsy logic.

Two-time world heavyweight champion AJ needs to earn his stripes to get a fight against Luke Fuey.

Just like Francis Ngannou earned his stripes with his total record of 0-0, 0 KOs beating the likes of and .

And Chisora earned his stripes by fighting the memory of Kubrat Pulev and showing good form against Joseph Parker.

It doesn't seem at all like Fury wants to avoid top names as much as possible. Never.

Fury must go for Franklin and Helenius after his Nganou fight. It will take him 2-3 months to do.

AJ claimed he needs to rebuild, so if he thinks he already did it, then before aiming at a champion, he must go through the number 1, as it's the right order and also to prove he's rebuilt.

A reminder: AJ rejected two offers from Fury in less than one year.

Does Deontay Wilder honestly want to fight Anthony Joshua or any top level Heavyweight?

Notice how things and attitude's have altered towards Joshua since his two loses to Usyk and then two comeback wins.

It is common knowledge within boxing, that once upon a time both Fury & Wilder both fought each other to avoid Joshua 'Because they believed that each other would be a stylistically easier match up compared to Anthony Joshua pre Ruiz I'.

That apprehension in fighting Joshua, in all honesty? I still believe it is there under the surface, when it comes to both Wilder and Fury 'They are not afraid, but they know stylistically that Joshua has the capabilities all combined into one that they have never fought'.

Joshua would be the most powerful puncher, and best most proven pure boxer Wilder has ever fought 'Wilder never before has fought all of these attributes combined into one fighter'. And Fury the last time he fought a fighter who skill for skill was a proven top level technical boxer with top level power was Wladimir Kiltschko 'Coming up to 7-8 years ago, when Fury was 246-248 pounds while training under Peter Fury'.

I think it is becoming very clear now that both Fury & Wilder are acting like a smoke screen for each other 'A narrative has been created that their trilogy, has been the pinnacle of Heavyweight competition within this era, the Gold Standard. And no other fighters can really compete on their level'.

When in reality skill for skill, in terms of pure boxing 'The highest level match up, that has happened at Heavyweight has been Joshua vs Usyk I & II. Skill for skill that match up, and the performances of both fighters were superior to Wilder & Fury. It was a higher level match up, pretty much on every single area'.

Work rate of both fighters, the actual boxing moves and skills on display 'Neither fighter was really making any unforced errors. The boxing was the highest form of boxing we have witnessed in the Heavyweight Division, in the post Wladimir Kiltschko era'.

Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury in comparison, although I personally enjoyed this match up more 'The passion and jeopardy involved in all of their fights'. It was not a high level Heavyweight boxing match up, both fighters technically were a mess 'The worst fight in terms of skill for skill, was actually the third fight. Both fighters were making unforced errors early on in the fight, and they were fatigued from round 2-3 on wards , even though the pace of the fight was not super intense 'The Wilder vs Fury trilogy is still a awesome match up, but skill for skill it is not what hardcore Fury fans or certain folk in boxing try and make out'.

Note: I honestly believe contrary to the status quo, the more Anthony Joshua creates momentum 'The more comeback wins he achieve's, the more Wilder & Fury will switch up on him. It is already happening.

During the aftermath of Joshua's loss to Usyk II, he was at the height of his perceived vulnerability 'It was in that moment, when I watched people in the sport all try and step to him. I watched Fury offer Joshua a fight at short notice, with a ultimatum 'I watched Wilder all of a sudden start piping up'. Never before had Fury and Wilder been so enthusiastic in fighting Joshua 'I honestly don't think they quite have that attitude now'.

Don't misunderstand at what I am saying. I personally rate Tyson Fury has the number 1 Heavyweight on merit, because he has the two best wins on his resume in terms of historical magnitude 'Kiltschko & Wilder'.

But it is not cliche when people say styles make fights 'Style's can effect the action and challenge of a fight'. Anthony Joshua out of all the top-4 Heavyweights is the most proven pure boxer outside of Fury and Usyk, and he is the most proven power puncher outside of Wilder 'None of the other top-4 Heavyweights, have that combination of abilities. Lets also factor in that Joshua has greater experience than Fury at Heavyweight actually fighting top level fighters.

If Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder want to fight Anthony Joshua 'All I am going to say is this'. Stay around, don't go disappearing. Because although people may mock him and his ambitions, Joshua's intentions are clear 'Anthony Joshua wants to fight his way back to a Heavyweight world title fight'.

So all Fury needs to do is stay around, if you are in a tough fight next 'Don't go retiring, defend your titles against actual professional boxers all comers and contenders'.

Because that is what Anthony Joshua is now a contender, nothing more 'I know this'. But I know that contenders with a ambition, they are all aiming for the Champion or Champions.

Tyson Fury just has to fulfill his tenants as a Champion. And if Anthony Joshua can keep on winning, then at some point these big fights will have to happen. All these fighters just need to stay on the battle field, stay on the playground and fights will happen' etc.

No one is scared of Wilder. There's guys lined up round the block wanting to sit him on his skinny ass again and most can easily do it.

The big question is, can Wilder still do the 2 seconds of perfection thing ?

Forget the first round dive his mate took after a paw to the face and then there's also the question of windmill's punch resistance when someone lands on him.

Wilder needs a tune up before even thinking of AJ and not just some soft touch, a real live body who's gonna take him to deep waters.

I believe Wilder is the one who is scared of finding out if he's still who he thinks he was or if he's not that guy anymore.

Further proof, the last two posts, that opinions vary when discussing sports, and that's a good thing!
I don't imagine for a moment that my thoughts on the matter merit any greater consideration than anybody else's dispite having seen all the top heavyweights of today fight and train in person and having followed them very carefully. A thought is just a thought.
Notwithstanding, I rate Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder both rather far above Joshua, Usyk, Ortiz, Ruiz and the rest of the 2015 - 2025 crop. That's me.

It's good to see the highly accomplished and extremely popular Joshua retaining rough weather fans after the fair weather ones have abandoned their man.
