I always assumed DLH avoided Winky but never looked too much into it.

Well, you have heard what Haney said in this news article.

Devin Haney Applauds Ryan Garcia For Easy Negotiations: ‘He Gave Me Everything I Wanted Without Resistance’

That's how so-called A-sides behave in this day and age. They want everything even when they themselves want the fight so bad.

Wright turned down a career high payday from Oscar. Thought he was being shortchanged

Yeah I remember that time period when Winky earned a reputation for bad business decisions. Turned down Taylor rematch over money, turned down Pavlik, but fought Hopkins at 170 and fought Williams who was a terrible style matchup for him.

Why is he calling him out, I remember the time and McCallum was dodged and stepped around by all 3 of the greats it was well known at the time, the timeline doesn't stand against the guy himself calling them out is he in a time bubble.

It wasn't well known at the time. Leonard was on his way out after a three years hiatus, maybe he could have fought Hearns who lasted a few more in the game, but saying he was ducked blatantly is a stretch.

Yes it was I can clearly remember McCallum making a lot of noise about fighting those guys.

You know, I'd love to heard what Marvin Hagler have to say about this, and ge wanted to fight Duran at 160 or 154?

Its funny you say that Ive tried to find any response from any of the fab 4 regarding Mike and there is crickets, I cant remember the weights a friend of mine was training at Kronk around the time he was told don't mention Mike McCallum around here lol so I don't know what went down but something did.

It should have been at 160 after Duran defeated Barkley, at that time he was done. 154 after Moore I'm pretty sure he fought Hagler and Hearns so can you call these guys duckers?
