I think this is a Joyce steering back into what he is good at.

Take punishment, give punishment. See who comes out on top.

He'll still be giving up hand speed, he'll still have the stamina advantage. No matter what he did, he wasn't going to change any of that.

I think it's a good move. I'm not convinced Zhang can stop Joyce unless he injures him again, and that's a very narrow pathway to victory. At a heavier weight, Joyce will be able to do more damage.

Ill take Joyce by late stoppage... maybe round 10.

No one knows how it would have went if Wilder was faster, better conditioned & more elusive. Everything else is opinion only.
Wilder wouldn’t take many hard shots by a 270 plus pounder at that weight and he’d get zapped quicker with a 270 pound Fury leaning on him i dont think that’s opinion at all . Wilder looked better in the first fight only bc Fury was rusty at top level shedding off unwanted pounds which weakened him when he put the weight on it was proper weight not drained one like he initially shedded off him .

If Wilder fights top guys at 215 who have decent stamina he’s going to regret it these guys are 240 plus right now besides Usyk . Maybe that weight suits that fight not so much the others .

Wilder continued to gain weight because he knew Fury was and it would have made it easier for him to dictate ring control, these guys aren’t dumb there’s no way Wildervwill ever fight Fury hovering 215 at this point that’s like giving away the fight and conceding right there , Furys to good at least if he has a bit more bulk on him he can somewhat negate Fury a little longer and hope to land a money punch . I’m not sure Wilder would hurt Fury enough at 215 if he gave away 60 pounds ?

A 255 pound Fury vs a 225 Wilder is way more closer and competitive at least not a one sided fight the problem is Furys not 255 anymore and Wilder complained about it as if there needs to be restrictions because his plans didn’t go his way he literally said that . . Lol

All of the punch resistance in the world will do nothing to prevent a swollen shut eye.

But that's assuming Zhang manages to hit the eye repeatedly again and that the doctor stops it again. Otherwise, if he makes it through 6, Zhang may be in trouble.

Joyce has nearly zer0 defense. He blocks punches with his face. He was already a slow, plodding fighter. Now, with the added 25 lbs, he'll look like he's moving in slo mo. Not to mention, his very possible decreased stamina due to the increase in weight.

Fury's career peak was 277 lbs. Damn. A terrible slugfest is coming.

Fury's was already bigger and heavier than Wilder, so maximising that advantage by coming in even heavier and using his weight to smother and bully a much lighter guy made sense. Even 30lbs heavier, Joyce is still lighter than Zhang, and he still has the problem of coping with Zhang's southpaw stance, power and fast hands. I don't see how being heavier is going to help him do that.

Joyce gained a lot of weight. Zhang should stop him even faster this time around.

It depends on what you mean by "train.". If it involves road work and exercise , no , if it involves , boxes full of crispy ****y chicken from Popeyes ,with a half gallon of Sweet Tea , then yes , they both trained ,ALOT.

My thing is, sure he's packed on pounds to get back to his more natural fighting weight, and yeah, it may help him cause Zhang SOME problems, but I'm sure Zhang has added a few extra particulars to that brutal left as well. It's gonna be Zhang by KO/TKO or Joyce by points/corruption.
