Floyd was never a power guy at 147. It’s that simple

He got his ass handed to him. Was lucky Pacquiao was carrying an injury or he would get knocked out and the judges wouldn't be able to save his record again

Because Spence punched him in the face.

Paul Spadafora beat up Floyd in sparring. It doesn’t mean much.

Gayweather was happy hugging and running to an awful decision win like all his fights.

Floyd would’ve beat Spence off the back foot by decision.

The ability of Spence if one wants to compare, is a lot less than that of Pacman. Just look at the skills displayed...

People get distracted by all the titles fighters have at times. But no matter how you slice it, paquio was a much higher caliber fighter. Crawford can only fight who is in front of him and he did good by fighting Spence

To be fair? Neither man wanted to risk anything when Mayweather fought Manny. It didn't really tell us much... Looked like a glorified sparring match.

Was that version of Pacquiao more dangerous than Spence, hence Floyd had to fight that way?

Or is it just a difference in philosophy? (Floyd chasing money/prioritizing health while Bud chasing glory?)
Dumb question considering Floyds WW KO record and history of hand issues, its simply different styles, why didn't Ali fight like Tyson, why didn't Hagler fight like Sweat Pea, this is one of those really dumb threads.
