If Helenius can hit AJ and make him bleed (his mouth, nose), then so can Wilder.

Only difference is, Wilder hits extremely hard and currently has the highest knockout ratio in modern boxing today.

Helenius can jab. Wilder doesn't have a particularly potent jab. It's actually not a bad jab, but not enough to keep people off him.

In theory he can do it but he folds under pressure. Deer in the headlights look. Seein it in Ruiz 1 and Usyk 1.

Normally head games and all that dont mean much to me but in this case Wilder will do best to get in his head. Having one of the most devastating punchers of all time telling a mentally fragile guy he is going to spark him out... I think that is too much for AJ to handle. I think he freezes up and gets sparked out. Thing is wilder comes out swinging and isnt afraid to get hit. AJ has fought scared against a cruiserweight and now even against shot almost 40 year old helenius he was overly cautious until the punch finally came in the 7th... wilder doesnt play that chit he goes for it from round 1.

Yeah that is the thing, AJ has two options with wilder, both of which Fury tried, 1. outbox him from the outside and 2. fight him inside where his power way lower and back him up.... fury still got caught both methods. AJ is def too scared to try method 2... so I see him doing method 1 which every single guy, ortiz too who has tried it gets caught atleast once, and if AJ wants to end it early he has to put himself out there to land his own and I think he will be afraid and too hesitant and Wilder gets to him. AJ from like 6 years ago when he wasnt scared sure I can see him winning but today I think he folds like a pretzel.

Great analysis as usual. It is insane how bad Helenius looked... He did not even throw his right and Aj was petrified. I seldom make a boxing prediction with no caveats but I have no doubt in my mind that Wilder will destroy the fragile AJ in record time. Wilder does have a jab, and has fast feet, he also took some hellacious shots from Fury. He will chase AJ down and destroy him.

I've seen Wilder working with Malik Scott on his jab. It doesn't matter, this is Boxing, you're going to get hit regardless. Mayweather got hit too, the man with the best defense when he was fighting during his time.

Eventually, you're going to hit. Difference is, it's the heavyweight division, and Wilder is known for having immense power.

Hes overthinking things. He just isnt quick enough, slick enough, durable enough or skilled enough to play some technical game with Wilder, if he lets it last anything more than 4-5 rounds he is 100% getting caught. His best chance is honestly to go for broke and look to wipe Wilder out up close with hooks and uppercuts early, still a very risky plan but better than just waiting for the inevitable big right hand to land.
