Comments Thread For: Joshua on Strategy For Wilder: This is a Game of Chess, I'm Gonna Nullify Him

Nah, it has to be a well-thought and well-fought boxing match, with the big bombs thrown at the right time and at the right target. If either one of these guys lands a big shot, the other will be in serious trouble. And Joshua seems to handle getting hurt worse than Wilder does.Comment

Basically what Aj needs to do is stay the fk away from Wilder right hand as much as possible, easier said than done ofc. Deontay isn't exactly a great technical boxer but he knows how to put and execute setups ,Aj better watchout.Comment

Wilder is being heavily overrated, wow. Been KO'ed multiple times, a half round of activity in a couple years. He's changed peoples minds with his spirit and tenacity, I get that, but all of that comes opposite of his skill level which damn near everybody here has acknowledged hasn''t been good.

That said, I doubt this version of AJ can beat him. He's not enough of a superior boxer to nullify the right hand and clearly not aggressive enough anymore to do enough damage before Wilder lands something big.
It's an overcooked fight that should have happened 5 odd years ago.

Maybe, but I've seen Wilder get dropped and get up fighting until he got stopped. AJ? Not so much. I've seen him get dropped, get up and get dropped again and again, as he retreated. I'm afraid if Wilder catches him, he wont get back up in time and if he does, he's finished.Comment
