AJ is a MUCH better boxer.

Wilder literally hasn't won a round of boxing since 2015.

But AJs tentetive now, he's lost his killer instinct which gives Wilder a chance to land.

It's just a great fight. Much better than it would've been a few years ago when we had a confident AJ. Until it ends, anything could happen.

Yeah I agree. Wilder is definitely more durable, has more dog in him too. He took an absolute beating against Fury and never stopped swinging. AJ seems to crumble when he gets hurt.

It's that exact mindset that's making him look like **** in his last half dozen fights. He's been gunshy ever since he got clipped by Andy Ruiz and hasn't fought the same since. That tactic against a killer like Wilder will just delay the inevitable. He'll eventually get iced walking around playing "chess" with Wilder. I will be rooting for him however as Wilder is an absolute tool as a person. You have to go for the kill against Wilder and limit his opportunities to take you out.

Normally head games and all that dont mean much to me but in this case Wilder will do best to get in his head. Having one of the most devastating punchers of all time telling a mentally fragile guy he is going to spark him out... I think that is too much for AJ to handle. I think he freezes up and gets sparked out. Thing is wilder comes out swinging and isnt afraid to get hit. AJ has fought scared against a cruiserweight and now even against shot almost 40 year old helenius he was overly cautious until the punch finally came in the 7th... wilder doesnt play that chit he goes for it from round 1.
I'd contend Wilder is absolutely scared to get hit since Fury took his soul.

You could see the fear in Wilders eyes as Helenius had him backed up and cornered and then the absolute surprise and relief when his mate Big Bob fell over after a half ****ed paw to the face.

Wilder needs to learn some counter chess moves cos if he thinks he can steamroll AJ and boss him early he's gonna hit the canvas and have hellish Fury nightmares all over again.

But AJ the chess grandmaster...looool. His best move would be to take a leaf from Canelo's playbook and keep punching windmills right arm and looking to get inside for the uppercut.

I used to think that would be AJ, but now I think it will be Wilder. AJ too slow, too tentative, doesn't counter, Wilder much faster.

Probably AJ's best hope is to get off the deck like Fury, use a high guard to deflect the incoming windmill and then KO Wilder with a jab when he's subsequently exhausted. I wouldn't bet on it though haha.

I agree. Used to lean towards AJ getting to Wilder first being the more technically sound fighter but nowadays I think Wilder ices him early.
