Give us a break will ya? You are copping out. Dude just simply quit. You could see it all in his body language that he wanted out. Looking toward and complaining to the referee is a clear sign of tapping out. Ward broke his spirit plain and simple. He could have continued if he wanted to.

      Paul Williams jab was pathetic.

If you could even call it a jab.

If fans didnt want to see those fights they wouldnt have. Its that simple.
They didn't want to see them that bad, and wanted their money back after Baldymir

That is the only part of your post I disagreed with.

Not sure why you’re pivoting to claiming Im defending him or asking about cash.

Sheep will watch anything though. Give an actual boxing fan the choice between the fights floyd chose and the fights that he should have taken (the more worth contenders and match ups) and the boxing fan would have chosen the Margo and Garcia fights every time.

            100% agreed.

As we both know, casuals sustain the sport more than just us.

They wanted to see the fights he had the same they wanted to see the other fights.

I wanted to see Floyd vs Paul Williams bad! I think the volume, reach and pressure Paul put on fighters made Floyd do a U-Turn!

I think it was Nazeem Richardson that said the Margo and Paul Williams fights were two he thought Floyd would never take, due to the danger and reach/output of both guys. Tough fights for anyone.

You dudes need a serious intervention. You got issues and a lot of deep seeded problems.

                  Joshua Clottey???? Antonio Margarito??????

Floyd vs. Baldymir was an absolute stinker and Floyd fought him because Zab Judah lost to him, then to further duck Margarito he cherrypicked Zab. Nobody was clamoring for Floyd/Baldymir and the arena was half empty by the championship rounds. Much respect to Larry Merchant who called Floyd out in the postfight interview on how bad the fight ******

It wasn't setting up no Oscar fight that's absolute bs who would pay to see Floyd stink up the joint with Oscar after that horrifying Baldymir fiasco

How these Floyd boys try to spin revisionist history because most of these cats wasn't even born when all this shsh was going down is horrifying.
So the lineal welterweight champion in Carlos was a worst pick than Antonio? If I remember correctly, he called out Carlos and they turned him down, then he called out Antonio and then they turned him down so he faced zab.

There is no version of Antonio that could ever hang with Floyd. Not one. He was too slow.

He openly admits he marinated the Pacquiao fight for 5 years so we know it was him who was waiting him out. Martinez offered to come all the way down to 150. He also ducked Freitas, Casamayor, Mosley at 135, and later on Thurman, Danny and Porter. Even his best win is tainted. Corrales was weight drained at 130 and recovering from bronchitis. He was never an elite level fighter to begin with.

floyd-mosley wasnt even feasible at 135. Mosley went to 147 before floyd even fought at 135 and he stayed there. Freitas nobody even asked for that fight and Frietas didnt even become a name until after floyd left 135. Now you are just making **** up to suit your agenda. Arum outright said for more than a year that Floyd-Pac couldnt happen until an entire new stadium was built in las vegas.
