I would have preferred Floyd to fight Margarito instead of Zab Judah.

The Baldomir situation is a one in a million time scenario. Realistically the best thing would have been Judah win his warm up, fight Floyd like was planned then winner fight Margarito but boxing isn’t ideal most of the time.

Anyway, personally still think Floyd should have took that fight but the politics was rife then between Floyd and Arum so there’s a lot of issues there but Floyd could have fought Margarito if he wanted, he should have in my opinion.

That fight was going to sell more than Floyd v Margs or Martinez.

I think Floyd v Martinez sells more than Floyd v Ghost. Floyd v Ghost sold over 1mil.

Again, the objective metrics make it clear fans wanted these fights.

Floyd would have filled arenas against anybody though. He chose to fight some donkeys rather than prime contenders.

the Baldo and Guerrero fights and others were just filler in his contracts. He often fought the absolute worst guy he could have selected. Baldo in place of Margarito is insane lol. And all those show time donks in place of Pac.

Margarito was a slow, flat footed, come forward fighter. Albeit a tall one with a decent jab, but tailor made for Floyd and he was getting a career high 8 million to fight him.

You made the claim fans didnt want to see these fights. Every objective metric shows that statement is false.
