Exactly! Charlo's up next, not Ennis!

What would you do if you were him, fight Ennis for chump change and defend the belts or fight Tim at 154lb for the belt and make even more history. Boots gets hit dead in the face by average fighters. Crawford would spank him

By Charlo going up in weight, he ruins a potential matchup with Crawford. While I want to see him fight Charlo next, Crawford, may as well focus on facing Spence (in a rematch), Thurman, and/or Ennis.

The only way Crawford will get Charlo is if Charlo beats Canelo, there won't be any interest in a Canelo rematch, and Charlo comes down in weight again. Unfortunately, I don't see any of those things happening.

I've already said that neither Crawford or Spence would fight Jaron 'Boots' Ennis next. Their plan all along was to vacate the welterweight division upon completion of their bout.

There is just not enough money to satisfy both parties for a fight with Jaron Ennis. Moreover, Ennis is a very risky fighter too. Boots is young and still has a lot to prove.

He has his whole entire career ahead of him and has not achieved what the more established fighters have achieved in this sport. His place is in the new era of welterweights.

Really like Boots. That said, he has stepped up his comp lately and he hasn't looked incredible, fighting B level guys. He absolutely devastated C level guys. He gets hit alot. Bud stops him IMO.

All that said, Im sure we will see Boots at 154 before long as well. That will be interesting.

Boots is just another fighter who is unproven and not on the same level as Bud
Haven’t you fughs learned anything from the demolition of Spence ?
Seriously , be a boxing fan and ask yourself if Boots is really at that pinnacle ?
Or has the hatred reached another level ?

                NSB, is Crawford ducking Boots?

If he's not, why do you feel that way?
I think he would fight Boots and he is telling the truth that he wants bigger fish, he is 35 and does not have a lot of time left so I can see his point.

We'll soon see if Jermell Charlo wants that Bud smoke.
And it's good that their last fights would not be far apart in terms of timing.
No excuses for Charlo to say Bud is not available or so.

Charlo would still be the lineal and Ring champion even if he gets stripped of all four alphabet soup belts. If Charlo comes back to 154, Crawford wants that fight regardless of the outcome of the Canelo fight.

If Crawford becomes lineal champion at 154 he'll be a four division lineal champion. In the history of boxing only Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao have accomplished that feat.
