There were two things that gave floyd his hardest fights and one that gave him his easiest fights.

He lost most rounds to applied pressure from JLC and maidana.

He lost the next most rounds to jabs from DLH, Zab and Cotto.

He had the easiest fights with Canelo and Marquez who tried to box and counter with him.

If crawford tries to box and counter floyd he will get taken to school. If he can work the jab well then that could win him some rounds. End of the day I pick floyd comfortably.

Two things to remember: Floyd tended to avoid taking a fight with someone who had reach on him. Also, Crawford just beat Spence, who busted up Floyd in Sparring. My gut tells me Crawford by brutal beat down, like we just saw him do. Only in real life, we all know Floyd would have never taken that fight to begin with.

If nothing else, Crawford will always be the man that beat the man that beat Floyd (in sparring).

It would be a chess match. Floyd will pull him in then counter and pot shot his way to a victory.

Those guys don't have the freaky reach of crawford. Or boxing skills.

Floyd had a 72" reach at 130lbs, literally nobody in his divisions had reach on him except paul williams so that is a lame excuse. might as well claim Valuev refused to fight taller boxers.

Floyd was already past his prime when he got to 147. His prime was 2002-2005.

Floyd by split decision but it would be the most skillfull fight ever.
He was hurt by Gamboa. However, these guys usually get hurt at the lighter weights due to them forcing themselves to make that weight. Floyd was hurt badly at the lower weight, Manny was kod twice, even Cotto and Canelo was hurt badly at the lower weights. It happens.

                    Floyd 10-2.

I thought Floyd 12-0 before. Slightly improvement for Crawbum.

Hard not to go with Floyd on points. Most theoretical matchups start off at the disadvantage of having to stop Floyd since no one can outbox the guy over 12 rounds.
