Floyd is wayy tooo defensively elite to ever get “beat down”Two things to remember: Floyd tended to avoid taking a fight with someone who had reach on him. Also, Crawford just beat Spence, who busted up Floyd in Sparring. My gut tells me Crawford by brutal beat down, like we just saw him do. Only in real life, we all know Floyd would have never taken that fight to begin with.Comment

Bud's my fav fighter right now but I can't pick Bud flat out over Floyd
I think he would probably win 3/10 fights vs Floyd, maybe 4. Floyd Mayweather is probably the best fighter I've ever seen during their careerComment

To be honest Floyd hasn’t anyone at the same level as current spence and crawford at welterweight, I think Crawford’s win over Spence trumps any win Floyd had at welter. Crawford might even be higher on atg welterweight list.
Nonetheless it all doesn’t make Floyd’s skills and greatness less legit or it makes crawford higher p4p all time cause it’s not close (the door is not close yet). Though I doubt floyd fights him easily without serious marinating, that’s just his MO late in his career. I still would pick Floyd over Crawford.
He would fight at a distance, would be more accurate and quicker. He’d make it a boring fight, but he’ll win. Crawford would be his best win though unless he defeated 2009-2010 Pacquiao version.
Crawford definitely gives him a run for his money.Comment

And that's the problem with not ever fighting an elite fighter in their prime. We have no idea how Floyd would look against someone like a Crawford. Floyd's largely a mystery at that scale. It's a tough fight but I say Crawford because he's proven himself now against an elite prime fighter.Comment

Man in the middle of the fight, they were fighting close range and Crawford was blocking Spence’s punches very calmly, I thought - is this guy even better than Mayweather? He was so calm, like the fight was in slo-mo for him. He never utilized the ***** punch-then-hold like Mayweather, Ward, W. Klitschko, and John Ruiz did. He never ran, or use clinching even when not hurt, like Mayweather didComment
