Its disgraceful. We didnt get AJ/Wilder when that was the fight, didnt get AJ/Fury when that was the fight, now Fury/Usyk is the fight (and much smaller than the previous two), lets see if we get that before one or both of them screws up and loses to someone else and kills it.

Usyk has already fought AJ twice and is nearing the end of his boxing career. His two main money-making fights would be Fury and Wilder in that order. It is understandable that he wants the fight more than Fury. I think if that doesn't happen, he should fight Wilder.

In his latest interview, he mentioned that he may go back to Cruiserweight and fight again. He's not a natural HW in this era and not a big puncher so maintaining his edge at HW would require extreme hard work and fitness that gets difficult as one ages.

Fury's a clown old news. Usyk is the goods, something special. He derives strength in his people of Ukraine fighting back in the war. Great champion

I don't see how that makes sense when weeks prior 60-40 wasn't agreed to then all of a sudden in the media 70-30 is ok, seems very odd to me.

If they're arguing over splits in the rematch clause why not agree to scrap it altogether? Surely that would be the easiest solution? Not to then walk away from the table altogether. That doesn't sound like someone who wants the fight (in the UK in the summer) to me.
Fury insisted on the rematch his team openly admitted that. So if the unified champion was not bothered about a rematch but is now being told that there has to be a rematch then being told the low percentages on the rematch that is enough to walk away

Usyk could easily smoke Daniel Dubs, and take on Wilder in May for a massive payday, and reign as HW champion for awhile, like 5 or 6 defenses, but his management are not the sharpest knives in the drawer, they are playing right into Fury's hands, as opposed to ignoring him, freezing him out, and moving on.
He is 36 he doesn’t have time to make 6 defences then fight Fury. I can imagine his training camps are not easy at his age. I think he has 3 more fights in him before you start to see a visible decline in his performances

We should get Fury vs Usyk in 2028. In boxing it takes 5 years for an obvious fight to be made.

I don't know about you but I considered that an obvious publicity stunt from the jump as soon as I saw that. I personally don't think Usyk had any intention of fighting Fury in the UK.
How in the world is 1 mill going to make any difference when he is accepting 30% fooking percent? Fury was getting 70% 1 million is peanuts in comparison. Mate you fury fangirls really looking for validation. Fury in his own words said " if a fighter want s to fight he will accept 50/50 - if not he will price himself out! lol He also said endlessly that he don't need the money and loves the one on one combat - yet all of a sudden 70% fooking percent is not enough. Also : Frank and Tyson both said it would be an easy fight to make, it's a 50/50 FIGHT. Then when it came to negotiations out of nowhere Fury starts asking for ridiculous demands and constantly changed the goal post. Gyspy DUCK QUEEN!

He wants his 10% of a mega payday soooo bad. Trying desperately in the media to try to pressure fury into taking less which there is NO CHANCE he’ll do lmao. He makes 5x as much as usyk fighting guys like Ngannou so usyk and his team better smarten up if they really want the fight. He talk real big for a guys who life and death with Maria Bredis rofl

Biggest fraud in boxing with a piss poor resume to boot. Beat a washed up 39 yo Wlad from another era. LOL tHAT'S HIS CLAIM TO FAME! Usyk used to school Wlad in sparring to the point he was asked to stop embarrassing Wlad in front of guest. lol Fury is a fraud Coward that can't bring himself losing to a middleweight it would damage his ego. He has struggled to guys of similar size that all couldn't hold a candle to Usyk. Fury knows his limits and he knows Usyk can make him look ****** in the ring! He will always be remembered for ducking Usyk!

But if the issue was the rematch clause that can’t be agreed on then surely scrapping it is the best solution?
