Maybe Smith's best shot at Beterbiev is to storm out at the opening bell and do or die. Beterbiev will beat Smith down over time, almost certainly. If he can catch Beterbiev cold though, maybe he's got a shot.

If nothing else, the results could be spectacular.

I love Hagler's reaction. He's looking at Hearn like "are you crazy?"

I seen him saying Smith will leave Beterbiev lying facedown. Definitely came off a little disrespectful. Felt like he was trolling.

This is as bold a statement if I’ve ever seen one
Just very disrespectful and overviewing what Artur Beterbiev has done his whole career
Is there anyone out there who agrees with this and why ?

The same way I don’t call boxers garbage or wtv
Imo , it was a bullchit statement and low blow to Beterbiev or any boxer
Especially the fact that Smith hasn’t done chit , could of understood if he was your regular knockout artist
Won’t be losing any sleep if that’s what your getting at

That was JSJ’s game plan. Not sure he landed a single punch lol

I think it's odd phrasing from a promoter too. It's the sort of stuff fighters say, not promoters. And he lost the purse bid too.

I haven't seen him say anything about early first round.

He also said Beterbiev is a beast but he thinks Smith can get to him at his age.

Yeah just say you think Smith can win. No need for the disrespect, Callum ain’t about that BS either.

BN24 is full of trolls, I never use their site myself.

Not a fight I asked for but I am looking forward to this one after watching both guys recent fights. I hope Smith takes the approach of his last fight and does that from round 1.

It's from BN24 which, let's face it, is a joke site.

I've watched the interview and didn't see him say 'early first round knockout'. I've read the 'article' on that site and apart from the initial blurb by the 'writer' they don't mention 'early first round knockout' or quote Hearn saying it.

I think you've been caught out by a site with no standards using a headline to generate interest.

Hearn said he sees Smith winning by knockout. Not an early first round knockout. It's not exactly a wild opinion coming from Smith's promoter.

Stranger things have happened. Johnson flattened him with pretty much the first decent shot he landed, Smith is much better than him, so Nash thinks that Smith may even end it inside the 1st minute, never mind round. He learned from his Canelo beating, moved up to his correct weight, and will become number 1 in the division when he wins. Nash calls it. Smith victory. Let's not forget, Smith faced the best version of Canelo the world has ever seen. Juiced to the grills on the finest Mexican beef. Nash out
